KEARNY MESA (CNS) - Four men were wanted for robbing a convenience store in Kearny Mesa Sunday, police said.A clerk at the Circle K on Balboa Avenue just east of Interstate 805 was working by herself around 8:45 a.m. Sunday when four men came into the store, looked around and left without making a purchase, San Diego police Officer Robert Heims said.The four returned about eight minutes later, and one of them pointed a knife at the clerk's abdomen and demanded cigarettes, Heims said. The woman complied, and the men took multiple packs of cigarettes and cigars. Bush, who died Friday night at his home in Texas, that he thought about most this weekend."He was constantly moving, and when he would move, he would move fast," Sheer said. "If you were working right ahead of him in the perimeter around him and you were right ahead of him, you'd have to be careful if you slowed down because he'd run you right over."Sheer said that same energy went into his golf game. "They say he played golf almost like you play hockey," Sheer said. "He'd hit the ball and the ball's almost done moving and he's just constantly moving."Sheer said the moment he'd never forget was the day Ronald Reagan was released from the hospital after he'd been shot. KOKOMO, Ind. -- Malachi's Magnificent Lemonade opened Friday and Saturday to raise money for the family of Jacob Pickett, and Indiana sheriff's deputy who was killed in the line of duty earlier this month.Pickett was laid to rest on Friday. He was fatally wounded while assisting with a pursuit and foot chase on March 2.All of the lemonade stand's proceeds will go to Pickett's family. Just some lucky ducks.After a call from a man who saw a momma duck quaking for help near a street drain grate, Charles County officers came to the rescue.It appeared that the momma duck was hysterically quacking because all nine of her baby ducks had fallen into the drain and could not get out.That's when Charles County Officer Mohler opened the gate on one side while Officer Coulby guarded the other side to save the ducklings. They were able to get five of the baby ducks out of the hole but struggled to get the others.A good Samaritan named Chad Marshell intervened and saved the day as he crawled 200 feet in the hole to guide the other baby ducks toward Mohler.All of the nine ducklings were reunited with their momma duck. 770
