A suburban Chicago police officer responding Sunday to a shooting at a bar killed a security guard who was just "doing his job," an attorney for the victim's family said.An officer from Midlothian, a Chicago suburb, fatally shot Jemel Roberson, a 26-year-old security guard working at the bar, Cook County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Sophia Ansari told CNN.Several law enforcement agencies responded to the shooting around 4 a.m. at Manny's Blue Room Lounge in Robbins, about 20 miles south of Chicago, Ansari said. A Tempe woman was arrested after her infant daughter ate mac and cheese with THC butter in it. Tempe police report that early Thursday morning, after receiving a report from the Arizona Department of Child Safety, they arrested 25-year-old Alaina Marie Limpert at her home.Police say on Tuesday, Limpert's 1-year-old daughter ate mac and cheese made with butter containing tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, which is the chemical in cannabis that gets you high. A witness reportedly told investigators that Limpert "laughed about the side effects the child experienced." Limpert later put the child in the cold water of the backyard pool to "shock" her, court documents said.Hospital officials later confirmed that they found THC in the infant's system. Inside the home, police report they found two marijuana grow tents, psilocybin mushrooms and many containers of hash oil with business cards attached to them. Limpert was arrested on one count of child abuse. 1000

A mom from Kansas is trying to sort out how her son's Social Security number was used to rent a car, open bank accounts and credit cards in Milwaukee, especially since he's just 11-years-old.Wiesje Sammis said she recently got a confusing call from a Milwaukee County detective."They asked if had he rented a car? I was, of course, like, 'Ummm no, he's 11,'" said Sammis.Sammis said her son Terrelle Lewis's identity was stolen and his Social Security number was being used."I think it's kind of shocking. That you can do that these days," said Lewis.According to court documents, police found the suspect at a Walmart in West Milwaukee. He was drinking a bottle beer and walking aisles.When they asked him for ID he gave them a fake driver's license and a Social Security card with Lewis's number on it.Records show the suspect also rented a car back in January and never returned it. He also opened up multiple credit cards and bank accounts.Lewis's mother said police told her the man likely bought her son's Social Security number online. She thinks it was taken during a data breach of his health insurance company four years ago."'There's no way somebody could take a child's identity. There's just no way' is what I thought," said Sammis.Now she is worried others have his number as well."I think this will impact him long term," said Sammis.To protect children's identities, parents are encouraged to apply for a security freeze. A Marine Corps helicopter crashed Tuesday in California during a routine training mission and all four crew members aboard are presumed dead.The CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter crashed near the city of El Centro, which is near the Mexico border, around 2:35 p.m., according to a statement from the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing.The cause of the crash is under investigation.The four crew members' identities have not been released yet pending 24 hours after notifying their families.The CH-53 helicopters are used to transport heavy equipment and supplies, and are capable of lifting 16 tons, according to the Marines website. 631
