Royals was first filed in 2014 on behalf of former minor league player Aaron Senne, ESPN reported and has now expanded to include minor league players in Arizona, California, and Florida.In the lawsuit, the players claim most earned less than ,500 annually in violation of several laws.According to USA Today, if minor leaguers had played ball this season, they would have earned between 0-0 per week played.Minor League Baseball canceled its season due to the coronavirus pandemic.A judge had initially allowed only the California players to sue, but the federal appeals court in San Francisco ruled in favor of the players from Arizona and Florida. 941

One woman, Cheryl Fleming, is personally taking voters to the polls, calling it her civic duty.Despite the wet weather in Virginia today, Fleming is behind the wheel, volunteering her time to voters."Pickin’ up folks and taking them to the polls, insuring that they have no excuse," says Fleming.There’s a reason why Fleming is doing this. Over two decades ago, she had a felony conviction on her record and was stripped of her right to vote.But in 2016, that right was restored. She was 54 years old when she cast her first ballot. Now, she's making it her mission to get people to the polls.One of Fleming’s passengers on Election Day was 70-year-old Marine veteran Joseph Crouch, who has a similar story to Fleming’s.“When you're an ex-felon, you feel isolated and locked out,” says Crouch.Crouch’s voting rights were restored four years ago, but this is his very first election. WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — An 8-year-old has gone above and beyond this holiday season.Aiden Foster didn’t give up until a West Palm Beach woman found her cat which ran away weeks ago.The past 10 years Ashley Goldstein and her furry friend, Tobin, have been inseparable. But just days after they settled into a new home, Tobin disappeared.“I was desperate to find him. I put flyers up,”Goldstein said.She searched for several days which then turned into weeks, still no sign of Tobin.“Honestly I thought I was never going to see him again. I kinda gave up,” she said.At that moment, a glimmer of hope.Ashley received a phone call with the news that she’d been desperately waiting for.“It’s this little boy telling me that he thinks he saw my cat,” she explained.It was Foster, the neighborhood pet detective, who promised to help.“I saw him in the backyard he ran over the fence,” Foster said.Aiden kept his word and went above and beyond, using a little creativity in the process.“So I tried to go after him and I just couldn’t so I just put my cat food that was there, I put a trail all the way down there left a whole big pile over there ,” Foster said.60 days after his disappearance, Ashley received her Christmas miracle.
