A couple reportedly tried to sneak into an iconic church in San Francisco to get married with dozens of their closest friends and family, and now several in the wedding party have Covid-19.The couple originally planned to marry earlier this year, and rescheduled for early July, multiple media outlets report. The couple planned to marry at Saints Peter and Paul Church, with roughly 100 invited guests.The guests were instructed to enter the church from an underground parking structure. Some of the pews were roped off, presumably to allow for social distancing.Representatives from the San Francisco City Attorney's Office were able to stop many of the guests from going inside the church after spotting them, and told them the event had to be held outside. San Francisco’s coronavirus health guidelines allow up to 12 people to gather outdoors if there's no food or drink.After being told to hold the ceremony outside, a large group moved to a nearby basketball court for the ceremony. A Florida man is accused of attacking a Volusia County ambulance crew on the way to the hospital Sunday night.The paramedics told deputies that the suspect, David W. Parsons, 33, had been belligerent throughout the evening. The paramedic who was driving the ambulance said he looked in the rear-view mirror and saw Parsons getting off the stretcher and attacking the paramedic riding in the back.The ambulance driver said he pulled over, opened the back door and found Parsons with the paramedic in a choke hold.The driver said he then put Parsons in a choke hold until he released the other paramedic. Deputies said the altercation then spilled out of the ambulance.The sheriff's office said Parsons then attempted to run at them and into oncoming traffic, where the altercation continued.Deputy Micah Stoltz arrived and found Parsons putting a paramedic in a choke hold on the side of the road. The suspect was straddling one paramedic while the other was trying to pull him off.Stoltz had to use his stun gun after repeated commands to let go of the paramedic.The paramedics were in good condition after the attack and scuffle.Parsons was later medically cleared at Florida Hospital DeLand before being transported to the Volusia County Jail. A Flint woman was accused of placing her infant children inside a suitcase and leaving them at the curb.On Wednesday, Flint Police responded to a residence in the 500 block of West Pierson Road to assist Child Protective Services.When officers were on scene, a 26-year-old woman placed items to the curb "as if it were trash" and fled from the residence at West Pierson Road on foot, according to a release from Flint police.Police say she was detained after a brief foot chase. Officers returned to the residence and found the woman's two sons, but two children were missing. After searching the area, officers located two 11-month-old twin girls inside a suitcase at the curbside. They were transported to the hospital where they were listed in good condition.The woman remains in custody. 804
