(KGTV and CNN) - Newly released video from a passenger shows the moments before and after strong winds led to the crash of an Aeromexico plane in northern Mexico.Flight 2431 had just left Durango, Mexico for Mexico City on Tuesday when it took a nose dive.Video shows the plane fall before flames erupt outside the window. (KGTV) — A dog and tortoise had to be rescued from a Fontana property after becoming stuck in a hole together.The odd scene played out Wednesday, after San Bernardino County firefighters responded to a report of a man and dog falling into a hole. When responders arrived, the man was out of the hole but the dog, a German Shepard named Taylor, was still trapped, according to SBFD.Taylor had brought a blanket into the tunnel, dug by 70-pound tortoise named Godzilla. The blanket had wedged Taylor and Godzilla together and prevented them from getting free, firefighters say.Firefighters worked to untangle the two animals, digging away dirt from around the tunnel and coaxing Godzilla out with some lettuce until the two were free.Both animals belong to the property owner where the tunnel started, SBFD says. (KGTV) — Disneyland and California Adventure have announced that both theme parks will close starting Saturday through the end of March amid the coronavirus outbreak.While there have been no reported cases at either theme park, both locations were being closed "in the best interest of our guests and employees," following Gov. (KGTV) — A 5.5-magnitude earthquake was reported near the Ridgecrest area late Wednesday.The quake occurred at about 6:30 p.m. in the Searles Valley area, about 14 miles outside of Ridgecrest, Calif., according to the USGS. Several smaller earthquakes measuring between 2.6 and 2.9 magnitude in the nearby Trona, Calif., area were recorded after the initial shakeup. A 4.2 magnitude aftershock was also felt in the area around 8 p.m. Wednesday night. No injuries or major damage were initially reported.According to the USGS' "Did You Feel It?" map, no San Diego County responses were immediately submitted.The last major earthquakes to hit near Ridgecrest occurred on July 4 and 5, 2019, when 6.4- and 7.1-magnitude earthquakes jostled the region. 756
