(KGTV) - The nephew of baseball star Alex Rodriguez was kidnapped and held for ransom in New York Thursday after a deal involving a Lamborghini, various media outlets reported.Rodriguez’ nephew, 29-year-old Norberto Susini, met two men at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square to sell them the vehicle, WABC reported. The men then demanded Susini return a ,000 deposit but he refused.WABC reported the men then held Susini against his will in a hotel room. They demanded ransom from Susini’s business partners, who called police.The men turned themselves in at 4 a.m, according to WABC.Susini is a player in independent baseball leagues. (KGTV) - The group leading the campaign to transform the San Diego County Credit Union Stadium site into a west campus for San Diego State University has major concerns over the question that will be posed to voters on the November ballot. Friends of SDSU is dismayed to the point that the issue could wind up in court. "Our position is we've correctly portrayed the initiative measure in our corrected version. If that isn't acceptable for whatever reason, we'll have to determine whatever remedies are available," Attorney Ken Lounsbery, speaking on behalf of the campaign, said to the City Council on Monday. RELATED: San Diego State's Mission Valley stadium plan includes NFL possibilitySDSU West is competing with SoccerCity, a private development, over the future of the 166-acre site. Both are promising a smaller stadium with a river park. The City Attorney's office, which is suing to get both thrown off the ballot, developed the language for both initiatives to go before voters. The SDSU West question, of 75 words, doesn't say the university would buy the land for fair market value. (KGTV) - The nation responded Saturday after a mass shooting at an El Paso Walmart, with people asking how to help the victims. The El Paso Police Department tweeted “blood needed urgently” hours after the shooting, due to the multiple victims at El Paso hospitals. Vitalant in El Paso, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit blood service providers, sent 90 units of blood to one of the two hospitals. Several other hospitals requested additional blood, the group reported. (KGTV) — The coroner's office has identified a teenager killed after a student pulled out a handgun and fired at classmates at a Southern California high school Thursday.Gracie Anne Muehlberger, 15, died from her injuries in the shooting at Saugus High School in Santa Clarita. One other student, a 14-year-old boy, also died at Henry Mayo Hospital in Valencia, but his identity has not been released.Three other students, 14-year-old boy, a 14-year-old girl, and a 15-year-old girl, were injured in the shooting, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva.
