(CNS) - The wind-driven Blue Ridge Fire in Yorba Linda that has burned 14,334 acres, destroyed a structure and damaged seven others was 16% contained Wednesday morning and the evacuation warning for the southern portion of Diamond Bar will be lifted, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.Some roads in the area have started to reopen -- one of two lanes will be open on southbound state Route 71 while crews fix a fire-damaged guardrail, and is expected to be completed by 4 p.m. Traffic was also being allowed on the SR 91 connectors to the 71, a Caltrans spokesperson said.Meanwhile, SR 142 remains closed from Chino Hills Parkway to Portola Parkway and the 71 southbound at Euclid Avenue off-ramps were also closed, Caltrans said.The estimation of burned acreage was lowered Tuesday night from about 15,200, according to Orange County Fire Authority spokesman Steve Concialdi. ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. — A Pasco County, Florida woman was arrested on Wednesday after deputies say she attacked her husband because he forgot their wedding anniversary.Pasco County deputies say that the fight between 35-year-old Carol Stone and her husband began as a verbal argument because he forgot the anniversary date. According to the victim, the argument turned physical when Stone allegedly smacked him multiple times on the head and face, leaving red marks and scratches, according to an arrest report.Stone's husband recorded the incident on his cell phone. Deputies say the video showed Stone striking her husband multiple times. Stone later admitted that she had a fight with her husband because he forgot their wedding anniversary, deputies say.Stone was arrested and charged with domestic battery.  841

Child Protective Services later determined the allegations were unfounded, but before the investigation ended, Bannister and her four children left Virginia for a planned vacation to Alabama. They never returned.The Stafford County Juvenile Domestic and Relations Court eventually granted custody of the children to their father. Bannister petitioned the court in Alabama and requested that custody be issued to her there, but courts ordered her to return her children to the father in Virginia.Bannister did not comply and was last seen in Alabama on Aug. 20.
