Now, with at least one company's ads, you won't have to wonder.CVS has unveiled a beauty campaign using un-retouched images, aimed at creating a more realistic standard of beauty. But do they really look that different?It's called the Beauty in Real Life campaign. CVS says the goal of this campaign is to create a new and more realistic standard of beauty. The way you can tell if an ad is a part of the campaign is it has a CVS Beauty Mark, a white stamp watermark that reads beauty unaltered.If you see the stamp on an ad it means that the images in the ad haven't been "materially altered." That means the brand did not "digitally alter or change a person's shape, size, proportion, skin or eye color or enhance or alter lines, wrinkles or other individual characteristics."So essentially if you saw the person in the ad walking down the street, they would look like they do in the ad. That's the goal, because in general, the editing of photos in ads really has has an impact on how women and girls feel about themselves.A survey found two out of three women strongly agree that the media has set an unrealistic standard of beauty. 80% of women feel worse about themselves after seeing a beauty ad. 90% of girls ages 15 to 17 want to change at least one aspect of their physical appearance.We asked a few people what they think about this new initiative."I think that's awesome," one woman said.  "I think we've been given unrealistic beauty standards for a really long time. So it's really nice to see companies putting in women who actually look like me. I don't have to have these unrealistic standards of what I should look like. I think it's a really awesome thing."Other women felt differently."Non touching is a good start," one woman said. "But if I saw that I would be like, real life? I don't know if I'd look like that in real life."Her friend agreed."When I wake up I do not look like that in real life," the woman said. "So I think like the touch up is a good start, but for that like slogan for the campaign I feel it's sending the wrong message in a way."This campaign is rolling out now digitally and the goal is for all the images in the beauty sections of CVS stores to reflect transparency by the end of 2020. 2339

Quincy Jones is the director at Sage Truck Driving School and says there are a few reasons why people aren’t becoming drivers.“Part of the reason is because the average truck driver is 55 years old and with the shortage of millennials coming in," Jones said.With drivers retiring and young people choosing four-year degrees, it's affecting deliveries. Companies like Coke, Hershey’s and General Mills have all said they have to pay more to get their items shipped to stores, which means wallets take a hit."I think ecommerce has a lot to do with it — just with the demand of everybody having to order stuff to have it delivered to their houses instead of actually going out and shopping for it,” Jones said.Being a truck driver can be a lucrative job right out of the gate, and it only takes four weeks of training. That’s one of the reason Sage student Miguel decided to sign up.“The money is really good, especially in this field — and I mean it’s just a lot to offer, benefits and money,” Miguel said.With a shortage of drivers, some companies are offering big signing bonuses for those considering driving. Solo drivers could receive a ,000 signing bonus, and team drivers could receive up to ,000.Jones believes more people would become drivers if they could afford the training.“With increased funding from the government helping with these new students through and getting them into the industry I think that’s a possible way,” he said.Even though Miguel is sacrificing a lot starting this career, he knows it’s beneficial to everyone.“It’s a full cycle. (AP) — A commercial pilot from Oregon raised a giant pumpkin weighing 2,170 pounds (984 kilograms) to win a pumpkin-weighing contest in Northern California.Steve Daletas, of Pleasant Hill, Oregon, on Monday credited a good seed and lots of sunny days since he planted it April 15 hoping to win the 45th World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-Off in Half Moon Bay, California.It is the fourth time Daleta takes top honors at the annual pumpkin-weighing contest. He won ,190 for the lumpy pumpkin that will be showcased at Half Moon Bay Art & Pumpkin Festival this weekend.He says he used a backhoe to place it on a pickup truck and drove it for 12 hours to California.The world record for largest pumpkin was set in a 2014 weigh-off in Germany by Swiss farmer Beni Meier who grew a 2,323-pound (1,053 kilograms) pumpkin. 850
