"We're just trying to stay busy and trying to make money to keep the employees working and myself to keep playing the bills," Boghosian said. On Thursday, it held a blood drive with hundreds of appointments.But Moore said the holiday decorations are up, the music is playing, and the mall's giving out free masks.Larger retailers, such as Best Buy and Target, have spread out their Black Friday specials over days or weeks. However, the retailers are under capacity limitations amid coronavirus restrictions. While that could hit the bottom line, customers who do go may benefit."A lot of consumers don't want to be bothered but if there is a question, there will be somebody there to answer that question and you're not going to go around the store trying to find somebody," said Miro Copic, a marketing professor at San Diego State University.Copic said the question moving forward is whether in 2021, whether consumers who buy all online this year come back to the malls, or whether their habits changed forever. 1822

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Cal Fire is battling a brush fire near East San Diego County on the U.S.-Mexico border. The flames broke out after 11 a.m. near the Cottonwood Creek area off SR-94, not far from Barrett Junction. 100 acres burned in the U.S., with the fire spreading to 650 acres in total by 7:30 p.m. It is 10 percent contained.The fire has a moderate rate of spread and was burning light brush, Cal Fire confirmed to 10News. She teaches English to kids in China, through a website called VIPKids."It would be really tight financially if we didn't have this," Murphy added. "We could make the bills, but there isn't money for a vacation or Legoland for the kids' birthday or going out to eat and kind of the fun things that you want to do."According to Bankrate, 37% of Americans now work a side job. According to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department, the rescue is taking place on the 12000 block of Torrey Pines Park Road.
