SAN DIEGO (CNS and KGTV) - A young man and woman who had been dating were found dead in the doorway of a home in the Lake Murray area of San Diego in what authorities said was a murder-suicide.Police received a call about 8 p.m. Tuesday of someone being shot in the 6300 block of Budlong Avenue.When officers arrived, they found 19-year-old Willow Singer and her ex-boyfriend 19-year-old Thomas Hayes with gunshot wounds to the upper body, according to Lt. Anthony Dupree of the San Diego Police Department. SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — A teenager was hospitalized after he was shot by a police officer in Salt Lake City Friday night.According to Salt Lake City police Sgt. Keith Horrocks, officers were dispatched to the area of 500 South and Navajo Street just after 10 p.m. on reports of a "juvenile" — police did not release his exact age — having a mental health episode and threatening people with a weapon.Police say the boy fled on foot when officers arrived, and one officer shot him.Officers administered aid until medical personnel arrived and transported the boy to a local hospital in serious condition.Wesley Barton, who said he is the boy's brother, tweeted that he is 13 years old and is in stable condition.An officer-involved critical incident protocol investigation has been launched, which includes an investigation conducted by local departments other than Salt Lake City Police Department (SLCPD). SAN DIEGO — Police are investigating multiple shootings that erupted in downtown San Diego Monday night.The gunfire was reported around 11 p.m. at several locations in the East Village neighborhood, about three blocks east of Petco Park's tailgate parking lot.A crew for Scripps station KGTV in San Diego was at the scene of one shooting at 15th Street and Island Avenue where several victims were being loaded into ambulances. Two other people suffering gunshot wounds were located near Market Street.No further information about the victims is available at this time.A witness told KGTV that he heard about a dozen gunshots coming from different locations and two vehicles speeding from the scene.It is unknown at this time if there are any other victims. San Diego Police Department Gang units are also on scene.The shooting happened not long after the San Diego Padres wrapped up their game against the Washington Nationals at Petco Park. 1015
