SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A man shot his wife and four sons at a Paradise Hills home Saturday, killing four, before taking his own life.Sunday morning, a GoFundMe set up by the victims' family identifies those killed as Sabrina, the mother, and her children, 3-year-old Enzi, 5-year-old Zuriel and 11-year-old Zeth. According to the page, 9-year-old Ezequiel is still in the hospital. The father was identified as Jose Valdivia, 31, according to City News Service. San Diego Police were called to the 2100 block of Flintridge Dr. just before 7 a.m. Police said the dispatcher could not communicate with the caller, but could hear an argument and someone being asked to leave in the background.Officers received another call en route to the home from a neighbor who said they heard arguing and what they believed to be a "nail gun firing." Police arrived and saw a young boy covered in blood inside the home. Three other boys, their mother, and their father were found inside with apparent gunshot wounds. A 3-year-old and the 29-year-old mother were pronounced dead at the scene, according to SDPD Lt. Matt Dobbs. The boys' 31-year-old father, believed to be the shooter, was also among the dead.A 5-year-old, 9-year-old, and 11-year-old were rushed to a nearby hospital. Two of those children have died and the other was taken into emergency surgery in critical condition, according to police.Officers had initially told media the 5-year-old and 9-year-old boys had died and the 11-year-old boy was in surgery, but said during Saturday's press conference they could not confirm which child was in critical condition.Police said the shooting was related to domestic violence and called it a "murder-suicide." A restraining order was filed Friday by the mother against the father, but isn't believe to have been served as of Saturday. Police said the father may have been aware of the order.Saturday morning, police said the father came to the residence and got into an argument with his wife, before using a handgun to shoot his family and then himself. The four boys and their mother lived on the property with several other relatives, police said. The father was not currently living at the property and the couple was going through some type of divorce process.Police confirmed officers were called to the property to break up an argument between the mother and father earlier this month, but no crime was committed."I just pray for that family," one neighbor said. "It's just a tragedy."San Diego Crisis Hotline: 888-724-7240RELATED:INTERACTIVE MAP: Track crime by locationViolent crime rises for fifth straight year in San Diego CountyLittle Italy bar's security guard gets jail time for shooting patron 2708

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A San Diego county father is speaking out about his family's close call caught on video during an off-road race down in Baja, but the driver behind the wheel says it's not what it looks like. Earlier in April, Matt Scarpuzzi of Alpine and hundreds of other drivers were participating in the "San Felipe 250" when he says another driver deliberately drove through a group of spectators, including his wife and two young children. In this type of racing drivers can deviate from the set course as long as they make it to the checkpoints, so technically it wasn't against the rules."I couldn't believe that was the best decision, in my opinion, it jeopardizes the fan safety and it jeopardizes a sport that I love," said Scarpuzzi. The man behind the wheel, B-J Baldwin, spoke to 10News and said it looks worse than it actually was.  "I had 100 percent visibility, I knew where everybody was at, knew everybody was safe. Again I was only going about 2 miles an hour when I drove through these tents," Baldwin said. He posted the video on his Facebook page and offered to replace anything he damaged. "I assured everybody that no one was in danger and I was very very careful when trying to re-enter the course and access the course," said Baldwin.  1317

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A man is being investigated on suspicion of DUI after driving into a house in San Diego’s Skyline neighborhood early Sunday morning.According to police, the man was driving his 2002 Mercedes Benz on the 6800 block of Madrone Avenue when he drifted off the road, went down an embankment and slammed into a house. The man received serious facial injuries and was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police say.The house had only minor damage. It’s unclear if anyone inside the home was hurt in the crash. 556

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A San Diego man has been sentenced to more than six years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple gun charges in a Tucson, Arizona federal court.Joshua Pratchard came to the FBI's attention after a short-lived attempt to join what prosecutors call a border militia group in Arizona in January 2018. The group kicked Pratchard out after just a few days, saying he did not want to follow their rules, including repeatedly asking to get physical with detainees and demanding to put a silencer on his weapon. He was also deemed eager for confrontations with criminal bandits known as "rip crews" who seek to steal drug loads in the desert.Pratchard continued to be involved in activity in Arizona, leading to contact with a member of the group who was a FBI informant. Pratchard revealed that he manufactured and sold weapons. The informant reported this to the FBI, which led to an investigation. Eventually, Pratchard was arrested after selling firearms to the informant. A search of Pratchard's apartment in Pacific Beach led to the discovery of a "gun factory." Along with the machinery to build firearms and bullets, agents found four homemade guns and enough gunpowder for 9,000 rounds of ammunition. The FBI investigation also discovered Pratchard's criminal history, which includes a conviction for having ecstasy when he was serving in the Marine Corps, and a 2007 felony assault conviction.Although he has been sentenced on the gun charges, Pratchard's legal trouble may not be over. During the sentencing hearing, prosecutors made multiple references to a non-profit organization Pratchard ran in San Diego which could see fraud charges filed in the future. 10News uncovered Pratchard's involvement leading a charity known as "Second Chance Fields," which is dedicated to rebuilding or refurbishing athletic fields at San Diego schools. His website touts to significant projects, including renovation of the baseball field at Mission Bay High School and a large-scale renovation of football and lacrosse facilities at Del Norte High School. For the latter project, Pratchard recruited former San Diego Padres star Adrian Gonzalez, who appeared at a press conference with Pratchard at the school and whose foundation donated ,000, according to the Second Chance Fields website.10News asked the FBI if there was an investigation underway into Pratchard and Second Chance Fields. A spokesperson responded that the Bureau could not confirm nor deny an investigation. 10News also left a message for Pratchard's attorney in Tucson. She did not call back as of air time. 2603
