IMPERIAL BEACH, Calif. (KGTV) - Matt Henry, a father of six and avid surfer, says he's always had a positive attitude."It's partly just who I am," he says. "Before getting sick, I was so happy. I mean, if I were a puppy, I'd be wagging my tail all day long."The sickness he's referring to is an inoperable brain tumor, diagnosed four years ago. It affected his mood and personality. But it never affected his spirit."I think I had an attitude of like, this isn't gonna stop me," Henry says. "I've got six kids and a whole life to live. This is not enough to stop me."After surgery to remove part of the tumor, Henry learned to manage his symptoms. Doctors told him his tumor was growing slowly, giving him time. He decided to use that time to live his best life."I called it bucket list living," he says, and he shared his adventures with his family on his YouTube page. He also uses the hashtags #StayStoked and #InoperableMeetsUnstoppable on social media. Now he's sharing something new. Henry is part of a worldwide clinical trial for a new drug called Vorasinedib. A form of it has FDA Approval for treatment of some conditions of Leukemia. The study will see if a different version can help slow brain tumors' growth with a specific type of mutation, which Henry's has."If this trial works and then it's gonna help a lot of people, so I'd love to pave the way," he says.UC San Diego's Moores Cancer Center is one of the clinics taking part in the trial. Director of Neuro-Oncology Dr. David Piccioni says this new drug can be a way to delay harsher forms of treatment like chemotherapy or radiation."The idea behind the trial was trying to come up with something that might sort of kick the can down the road," says Dr. Piccioni. "It's a slow-growing tumor. But it is growing, and it is something (Matt) wants to do something about. And that's sort of the point of this trial."As he's going through the trial, Henry is posting videos about it. He peppers them with his sense of humor and hope. It's his way of showing that if he can keep a positive attitude through this, the rest of us can persevere through our challenges as well."I'm terminal. But the truth is, we're all terminal. I mean, life is a terminal disease. So, make it a big point to make today matter, make today count, and leave others better than you found them."Matt's family has a GoFundMe page to help pay for medical and other costs. 2415

In a heartbreaking Instagram post, Chrissy Teigen shared Thursday that she had suffered a miscarriage."We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before," Teigen wrote. The model and TV personality and her husband, singer John Legend, announced in August that they were expecting their third child. But earlier this week, Teigen was rushed to the hospital shortly after revealing that she had been on bed rest and had suffered bleeding for about a month. In her Instagram post, Teigen wrote that doctors were unable to stop the bleeding and give her baby the fluids he needed "despite bags and bags of blood transfusions."While Teigen wrote that she and her husband don't pick names for their children "until the last possible minute," she said that she had been calling her unborn son Jack."He will always be Jack to us," she wrote. "Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever."Teigen closed her post with thanks to "everyone who has been sending us positive energy, thoughts and prayers.""We are so grateful for the life we have, for our wonderful babies Luna and Miles, for all the amazing things we’ve been able to experience," Teigen wrote. "But everyday can’t be full of sunshine. On this darkest of days, we will grieve, we will cry our eyes out. But we will hug and love each other harder and get through it.""We love you, Jack," Legend added in a retweet of his wife's post. 1481

IMPERIAL BEACH, Calif. (KGTV) - The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a residential burglary that happened in the overnight to early hours on Wednesday. The break-in happened at a house on Date Avenue.According to residents someone broke into their house and stole several items while they were asleep. Taryn Williamson, who lives in the home, said the thief must have gone into their room because she noticed her purse, her boyfriend’s phone, and a Nintendo Switch gaming system, were missing.  All were on a table in their bedroom. Her purse had 0 in cash as well as credit cards. Williamson says the money was to pay for rent, but they were able to raise it back in a few hours through GoFundMe.“I’m a really light sleeper," Williamson said, "I'm really shocked I didn't wake up, he (or she) must have been really quiet."Williamson said her roommate discovered the front door was open when she left for work around 5 a.m.  They are not sure how the thief got inside, but she says it's possible someone left the door unlocked before going to bed the night before. If you have any information, you’re asked to call the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office. 1223

IMPERIAL BEACH, Calif. (KGTV) - It's easy to see Imperial Beach is a surf town. But if you look hard enough - something else is trying to take over.Limebike is a tech company that deals in two wheels. It's been a busy week for Colin McMahon, a manager at Limebike."On Friday we started rolling them out through all the weekend and now we are up to 200 bikes through operations," McMahon said.Limebike's mobile app is launching in Imperial Beach, its eighth city."A lot of curiosity so almost every time we brought a bike out of the truck people were asking what is this bike how does it work," McMahon said.Riders download the app, enter their credit card number and scan the back of the bike they want to ride.Even 4th grader, Jacquin Hallaway, can figure it out."I think it's fun that you can like rent a bike," Hallaway said.Unfortunately, not everyone has been behaving with the bikes.Someone in Seattle stuck one on a power pole but don't count out San Diego's shenanigans."There was one that was thrown off the pier. Fortunately, it was in shallow water so we were able to retrieve it," McMahon said.Limebike says roughly 10 bikes are out of commission and each one costs several hundred dollars. If the bike weighing 50 pounds doesn't stop you from walking off with it, the alarm that triggers after 20-30 feet will.Joseph Patterson, a Limebike retriever, said the app has become the talk of the town."I come out and I make sure all the Limebikes get back we don't have them blocking the sidewalk," Patterson said. "It's caught a lot of traction lately, everyone is starting to like them it's the talk of the town here."Limebike says they're doing their best to make sure they're not in the way but it's also how they build the brand."It's part of the allure, you see the bikes on the street," McMahon said. 1840
