InfoWars, a far-right media organization run by Alex Jones and known for peddling unfounded conspiracy theories, is on thin ice with YouTube after it posted a video that portrayed the survivors of the Parkland school shooting as actors.The Alex Jones Channel, Infowar's biggest YouTube account, received one strike for that video, a source with knowledge of the account told CNN. YouTube's community guidelines say if an account receives three strikes in three months, the account is terminated.That video focused on David Hogg, a strong voice among survivors of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. The attention has given him a powerful platform -- but it has also made him the subject of demonstrably false conspiracy theories that claim he's so skilled as a public speaker that he must be a paid actor.  842

INDIANAPOLIS — A member of Congress has introduced a bill taking aim at protesters. The "Support Peaceful Protest Act," introduced by Indiana Rep. Jim Banks, would ban protesters convicted on crimes such as violence, looting, or vandalism from federal unemployment assistance. It was introduced on August 28, following several nights of demonstrations in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Protesters would also be held financially liable for the cost of federal policing.In a press release, Banks said:"Antifa thugs are descending on suffering communities, disrupting peaceful protests and leaving violence, looting and vandalism in their wake. They turned Milwaukee, Seattle and Portland into warzones, and now they're moving the chaos to Kenosha, Wisconsin. Who knows which community is next?"The bill is not expected to move in Congress. It turns out that wireless internet home surveillance systems aren't just about security - they're also about selling homes at the highest price.A new scientific poll from NerdWallet says 15 percent of homeowners use their home security systems to view people looking at their homes. And about half of those surveyed say monitoring how people react to their homes could be useful information when it comes to negotiations."If your client's excited about the property you don't want them to say, 'this is the one, we'll take it no matter what,'" said San Diego realtor Gary Kent. "It's not going to be good for their negotiating position."Kent says he personally does not use the cameras when selling homes, but has warned his agents that they could be on camera when showing homes. That way they know to advise their clients to keep any emotional reaction under wraps - so they can keep the leverage they do have in San Diego's tight real-estate market. Still, the idea of using the surveillance system - namely audio without someone knowing - raises legal and ethical questions. The California Department of Real Estate says this could be considered a dishonest dealing and could be grounds for discipline.
