COVID is wreaking havoc in the Southeastern Conference.On Wednesday, the conference announced that they postponed the No. 12 Georgia Bulldogs vs. Missouri Tigers football game due to a COVID outbreak within the Tigers football program.With Missouri already playing Dec. 12, the conference pushed back the Georgia and Missouri's game to Dec. 19, the conference said in a press release.This is the fourth game the conference has had to postpone this week."While it is unfortunate to have multiple postponements in the same week, we began the season with the understanding interruptions to the schedule were possible and we have remained focused throughout the season on the health of everyone around our programs," said SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey said in the news release. CINCINNATI — Jonathan Frierson of Lincoln Heights, Ohio says he's honored to have known Sen. John McCain personally as his bus driver.“Driving the 'Straight Talk Express Coach' for Senator McCain,” Frierson told WCPO. “Got started in 2000. CORONADO, Calif. (KGTV) -- Warmer water temperatures are bringing out the stingray encounters in San Diego. Thursday afternoon, 12 more people were stung just days after a similar incident involving 10 to 15 people Tuesday. “I’m not used to the beach I come from Arizona so like this is actually happening,” said Angelo La Rosa, who is visiting from Arizona. “It felt like something was digging into my skin,” said 13-year-old Phoenix Stofa, who was one of at least a dozen stung Thursday. RELATED: 10 to 15 people stung by stingrays in Coronado“Yeah, yeah they don’t want to get stepped on and that’s their only defense mechanism and they have a barb,” said Sgt. Damon Bassett, a lifeguard in Coronado. Basset said he feels for those who get stung. “Anytime you get some nice weather and some warm water people don’t know to shuffle their feet. Then they can come in contact and get stung.”“Don’t walk on the water like you would on land,” Bassett added. A painful lesson for some, but still a day at the beach. “I just thought of the shark movies but it wasn’t a shark alert it was just a stingray. If it was a shark alert, I would have been more,” La Rosa said. If you do happen to get stung, lifeguards say you should soak the affected area in hot water to deactivate the venom. 1291

Collin Green sent notice to Chief Petty Officer Edward Gallagher that his status as a SEAL is under review, according to his lawyer.The process, commonly called a Trident Review, could strip Gallagher of his trident pin and remove him from the SEAL teams, though his rank and paygrade in the Navy would not be changed.“It’s ordinarily a procedure used for a substandard performer or somebody who’s committing safety violations,” said Timothy Parlatore, a civilian attorney for Gallagher.RELATED: Trump restores rank of San Diego Navy SEAL following war crimes caseParlatore said Gallagher is planning on retiring as soon as possible, so the move to strip his trident pin would not have any dramatic effect on his current role.“It has no legitimate value for someone about to retire,” said Parlatore. “It is purely a retaliation. Conditions at the border are getting worse as desperate migrants wait for asylum. Many have given up hope in their desperate hour. The shelter where migrants are staying is packed to the brim. It’s said to be completely full and actually three times above capacity. Conditions are getting worse as officials with the state’s special committee on migration issues say city and state officials are even looking for a second shelter, but no local businesses are willing to rent out their facilities for the migrants. People at the shelter have reported deteriorating conditions including open sewage drains. The Mexican Navy has set up small kitchens and the Red Cross is providing medical care. Migrants say they want the U.S. to speed up the political asylum process, saying it’s taking too long. 804
