It’s a series of videos that allow the kids to follow along with instructors and learn dance moves."You really do see the students recharge after a little brain break, you really do,” she said. "Their energy and motivation are back.”Other Northeast Ohio teachers who think their students might need a brain break, breakdance can join in."As an organization who took great pride in having people physically connect in a respectful and meaningful way, it became very apparent to us that we were going to have to evolve how we accomplished our goals,” said Jojo Carcioppolo, the founding executive director of Dancing Classrooms Northeast Ohio.Carcioppolo says Dancing Classrooms has had to significantly change the way it connects with students and teachers for now because of COVID, so they created breakdance."It’s called Break Dance because breaks, reset, engagement, attention, and knowledge,” said Carcioppolo.And the company is doing all of this for free."All of the breaks are three minutes or less, and it just really gives the teachers the ability to put on a break and let students stand up, shake it out,” said Carcioppolo.Students like Angel are dancing out their fatigue at home all across Northeast Ohio until they’re able to bust a move in person."It’s fun, then when we’re done I can concentrate better on the class,” said Angel.This story was first published by Amanda VanAllen at WEWS in Cleveland, Ohio. 2115

CLEVELAND — On Friday, WEWS talked to Len Honacki, a Cleveland man who was waiting on his heart medication after a United States Postal Service delay.“I was a little worried how long I can go without before I call the doctor and say ‘Hey what’s going on and what do I need to do?'” he said.Tracking records show that his medicine had been to Cincinnati, Washington D.C., and Maryland.“The post office had a series of mishaps," he said.When Alicia Rauckhorst, the Northern Ohio marketing manager for USPS, learned of Honacki’s issue, she decided to take matters into her own hands.“Somewhere in there, inadvertently, it got sent to Maryland,” she said. “As soon as it got back, no matter where it was, I was going to let him know.”She called Honacki herself.“She called me just to apologize and she said ‘I will do whatever it takes to find your meds and I would get it to you,’” he said. “When someone says ‘I'll drive to Cincinnati 4 hours and pick it up and bring it 4 hours back.’ To me, I mean, come on, that’s above and beyond.”Luckily, Rauckhorst made sure his meds arrived in Cleveland Saturday night and Sunday morning she made a special delivery.“I went up there and picked up the package called it when I had it in hand and said ‘Hey, I’m on my way to your house to bring you this medicine.’”Honacki was shocked.“She comes to the front door and delivers the mail right to me. CLAY COUNTY, Mo. — A man is in custody after leading multiple law enforcement agencies on a chase while riding an ATV naked. KCPD told Scripps station KSHB in Kansas City that Shoal Creek patrol officers were sent out on a call involving a naked man driving a yellow ATV through yards just after 2:15 p.m.When they located him, they tried to pull him over but he refused to stop and fled through a field.He eventually made his way onto I-435 and began driving fast going south in the northbound lanes.He got off I-435 at 210 Highway, where he exited onto Searcy Creek Parkway and drove back east toward train tracks south of 210 Highway.As the suspect approached the old Sam's Town Casino, police said he was thrown from the ATV after he struck two railway junction boxes.He got up and tried to run from officers, but was taken into custody and to a local hospital for treatment.The chase ended just before 3:45 p.m.The police activity you’ve been seeing along 152 Hwy, I-435 and now 210 Hwy is all because of a naked man riding a yellow ATV who refused to stop for police. ??
