President Donald Trump described Oprah Winfrey as "very insecure" and accused her of "biased and slanted" after an interview on CBS's "60 Minutes" that addressed his presidency.Oprah hosted a group discussion with 14 voters who had appeared on the show in fall 2017 -- half who had voted for Trump and half who had not.The discussion looked at whether the the pro-Trump panelists still backed the President, his alleged "s***hole countries" comments, the worldview of the US under his leadership, questions around Trump's stability and fitness for office, and accusations of inappropriate sexual behavior.""Just watched a very insecure Oprah Winfrey, who at one point I knew very well, interview a panel of people on 60 Minutes. The questions were biased and slanted, the facts incorrect. Hope Oprah runs so she can be exposed and defeated just like all of the others!" Trump tweeted after the show was broadcast. Just watched a very insecure Oprah Winfrey, who at one point I knew very well, interview a panel of people on 60 Minutes. President Donald Trump has discussed the possibility of granting pre-emptive pardons to his three oldest children, top adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner and his personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, according to reports from the New York Times, ABC News and NBC News. The New York Times first reported the possibility that Trump could issue the pre-emptive pardons out of fear of politically-motivated investigations from the incoming Biden administration.None of those Trump is considering for a pardon have been formally charged with a crime, though all have been tangentially linked to various criminal investigations over the last four years.Donald Trump Jr. — the president's oldest son — was investigated by special counsel Robert Mueller for a meeting he took with Russian officials during his work with the Trump campaign ahead of the 2016 election.Kushner, the president's son-in-law, did not disclose contacts with some foreigners in applying for White House security clearance. Though it is a crime to provide incomplete information to federal investigators, President Trump granted Kushner unilateral security clearance.Eric Trump is currently serving as the executive vice president of development and acquisitions of the Trump Organization — which is currently under investigation by New York Attorney General Letitia James. In particular, James is investigating millions in tax write-offs for organization "consulting fees." The New York Times has reported that some of those funds went to Ivanka Trump, the president's oldest daughter. It's unclear how the president would issue a pre-emptive pardon for charges that have not been levied. Presidential pardons must be specific in scope. Legal expert H. Jefferson Powell told ABC News that "there is no entire get out of jail free card."ABC News also spoke to a Trump administration source who said the president has gotten an "insane" amount of calls about a pardon for the subject of the massively popular Netflix documentary "Tiger King"Joseph Maldonado-Passage's attorney, Eric Love, also told ABC News that he believes his client is "very close" to receiving a pardon.Maldonado-Passage, better known as "Joe Exotic," is currently serving 22 years in prison after his conviction in a murder-for-hire plot and selling tigers in violation of the Endangered Species Act. 2339

Poway, Calif. (KGTV) - After years of rumors keeping bowlers anxious, 10News has learned that the Poway Fun Bowl will finally close August 31. The closure helps pave the way for dramatic changes at the Carriage Center shopping area.“I guess I’m not surprised. You see changes everywhere. It seems a shame that something that’s been here that long just can’t make it anymore," said David Spear, who lives nearby.10News has been tracking discussions between the new property owner and the tenants since 2018, when it first became clear that the owner had designs on removing the bowling alley and neighboring thrift stores on the land to make way for a new project. In October, the thrift stores learned their leases would not be renewed. Some have already closed. Others will be closing in the coming months. It is not clear yet what the owner plans to do with the property. An application has been filed with the city for a mixed-use project, but no formal plan has been pitched to the city council, according to one councilmember.Residents who spoke with 10News Thursday were torn. They cited two other major projects already approved within the next few blocks of Poway Road, expressing concern about growing traffic and the loss of Poway's "City in the Country" character. However, others supported the idea of modernizing a rundown part of the city, saying that while it is disappointing to lose the bowling alley and thrift shops, that new developments could benefit the community. 1492

President Donald Trump reiterated his willingness Monday to allow the government to shut down this fall if he does not receive sufficient funding for border security but he declined to take a firm stance on the specific amount of money he would accept."If we don't get border security after many, many years of talk within the United States, I would have no problem doing a shutdown," Trump said during a joint news conference at the White House alongside Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte. "It's time we have proper border security. We're the laughingstock of the world. We have the worst immigration laws anywhere in the world."Trump's comments come after he threatened on Twitter over the weekend to shut down the government if he does not receive funding for his campaign-promised border wall from Congress. 823
