Despite expanded netting at Minute Maid Park in Houston, a foul ball that was lined off the bat of Chicago Cubs hitter Albert Almora struck a toddler sitting down the left field line on Wednesday. Almora, a 25-year-old Florida native who is in his fourth year as a Cubs outfielder, dropped to his knees in grief as soon as the ball left his bat.
