Joanna Bradford returned home last Thursday and saw her front door open and damaged. "My heart started beating, immediately nervous and called police," said Bradford.Bradford eventually discovered a ransacked bathroom and bedroom. A new iPad and some jewelry had been stolen, including a gold-and-silver Omega watch belonging to her father, who passed away in 2013. He bought it in the 70s and wore it to work every day."I would put it on, look down, and see my dad. He then leaves and comes back with a backpack. That's when the motion-activated camera stops.In the next video, that man and another man are seen emerging from the home with backpacks, before getting into a vehicle, possibly a light-colored GMC Acadia SUV, and driving off. CARMEL VALLEY, Calif. (KGTV) — A Silicon Valley tech CEO is apologizing after he made racist comments and cursed at an Asian-American family that was celebrating a birthday. Raymond Orosa, his wife Jordan Chan, and their kids were celebrating her birthday on July 4th at the Lucia Restaurant & Bar in Carmel Valley, when they say a white man started yelling racist things about Asians.The incident was captured on a video that shows the man cursing and hurling racist insults and the server ordering him to leave."Trump is going f*ck you," the man is heard telling the group. "You f*cking Asian piece of sh*t.""The man in the video is Michael Lofthouse, a CEO of Bay Area-based cloud computing startup Solid8.In a statement issued to media, Lofthouse admits making the comments and says he will be reflecting on his behavior.“My behavior in the video is appalling,” the statement read. “This was clearly a moment where I lost control and made incredibly hurtful and divisive comments. (KGTV) — U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized more than million worth of narcotics in a single vehicle stop this week.CBP says officers stopped a 55-year-old driver at about 4 a.m. at the Calexico Port of Entry and referred the driver to a secondary inspection, where an x-ray imaging system identified anomalies in the vehicle.A search of the vehicle turned up 20 packages of fentanyl weighing 48 pounds, and 121 packages of methamphetamine weighing 517 pounds hidden in the floor, gas tank, seats, and spare tire.The driver was arrested and turned over to Homeland Security officials. 628
