As Fire Chief John Alston Jr. spoke to reporters in New Haven, Connecticut, about a spate of drug overdoses on Wednesday, he heard shouting coming from behind him."We're getting another call of a person," Alston said.He quickly helped coordinate the response, and then returned to the microphone.That scene occurred the same day that 76 people were believed to have overdosed on some form of K2, or synthetic marijuana, officials in New Haven said. An intoxicated Mansfield woman was arrested on Saturday after making lewd comments to the Easter Bunny.Ladonna Hughett, 54, was arrested at Richland Carrousel Park in Mansfield, Ohio.Witnesses told police the woman made several lewd comments while taking a photograph with the Easter Bunny and appeared to be intoxicated. Afterward, Hughett went for a ride on the carrousel.Police said Hughett appeared to be under the influence when they arrived. She was charged with drunkenness and taken to Richland County Jail. As local municipalities and states decide whether to mandate facial coverings, Starbucks has decided all of their company-owned locations within the U.S. will require them.In a statement posted Thursday, Starbucks said they will require all customers to wear facial coverings beginning July 15.“The company is committed to playing a constructive role in supporting health and government officials as they work to mitigate the spread of COVID-19,” the statement reads. “It is our responsibility to protect our partners and comply with local public health mandates.
