When you return home, try not to make a big deal out of it.“It’s a completely natural instinct to greet our dogs that are just thrilled to see us,” said Romine. “We're just as thrilled to see them and coo over them, but that really just makes it a huge highlight when you leave and come back, so the general recommendation when you leave and come back is to greet them briefly and then try and let them calm down.”Reward calm behavior. A Masters super fan has decorated his bathroom into a golfer's dream.Gregg Thompson of Somers, Wisconsin has transformed his bathroom into an homage to all things golf and especially the Masters. After his kids moved out he and his wife decided to remodel the bathroom. Gregg suggested the idea and his wife was all for it."Convinced my wife that that was a good idea and fortunately she agreed with me," Thompson said.Inside he has two Masters flags. One was signed by Bubba Watson, the 2012 winner, and the other was signed by Ben Crenshaw who won the 1984 and 1995 Masters tournament. He has old school clubs, a Masters hat, a Masters shower curtain, multiple Masters books, a Masters 'Quiet Please' sign, and of course he has a mini putting green inside there. He uses his dad's old putter and said that if he can sink it in the bathroom with that ancient club, he will have a good day on the course."I feel like I'm almost there. SPRING VALLEY (KGTV) -- A driver is recovering in the hospital after being rescued from his car Wednesday night.According to California Highway Patrol, the man crashed his car around 10:15 p.m. on Sandy Bev Lane.Deputies say the car sheared a power pole before taking out several fences and almost hitting a house.The victim was taken to the hospital with major injuries. No other cars were involved.CHP is investigating what caused the driver to lose control. 468

SHELLTOWN (CNS) - A 21-year-old man broke his right femur today when he crashed his car into a median in Shelltown.It occurred at 12:30 a.m., according to Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department.The driver was speeding westbound along Division Street and crashed when he was midway through the 700 block, Heims said.He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.Anyone with information is encouraged to call SDPD at 619-531-2000 or Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477. 503

SPRING VALLEY, Calif. (KGTV) — A 76-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of intentionally sparking a fire that damaged a portion of an East County strip mall.San Diego Sheriff's deputies were called to a Spring Valley strip mall in the 500 block of Grand Ave. on Tuesday at about 8 p.m. over reports of a possible structure fire.When deputies and fire crews arrived, a woman was found nearby and determined to be a suspect. The woman, identified as Leona Head, is a transient in the Spring Valley area, deputies say.Deputies say Head admitted to starting the fire by trying to extinguish a lit cigar with a bottle of liquid labeled "Clorox." The liquid appeared to be a flammable substance and spread the fire to an electrical box adjacent to a strip mall.The fire spread to the roof of the strip mall before crews with San Miguel and Bonita Sunnyside fire departments were able to put out the fire.The fire damaged the exterior of the building and the electrical box. No injuries were reported.Deputies say Head admitted to setting two other fires ruled as accidental. She was booked into Las Colinas Detention Facility for arson. 1143
