A shooting at at a sprawling shopping complex in El Paso on Saturday left at least 20 people dead, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said.More than two dozen people were injured in the shooting at Walmart, where some of the chaos was caught on camera. Twenty-four of the injured were taken to two area hospitals, two hospital spokesmen told CNN. A CNN analysis of the 8chan post found that it was posted less than 20 minutes before police received the first calls about the shooting.It is filled with white nationalist and racist hatred toward immigrants and Hispanics, blaming immigrants and first-generation Americans for taking away jobs and the blending of cultures in the United States.The writer discussed fears of an influential Hispanic population in Texas that would make the state a "Democratic stronghold" and said "the Republican Party is also terrible," because the party is pro-corporation, which can lead to more immigration. The writer wrote that their opinions on immigration predate President Trump, and the writer appears to have held these beliefs for years.The post further says the writer took less than a month to plan the shooting and describes the weapons used.Facebook says it is working with law enforcement. Facebook and Instagram profiles under the suspect's name have been removed by the company.Facebook and Twitter say they are working to prevent people from sharing the document. Despite the companies' claims that they are removing the writings, CNN was easily able to find multiple versions of the writings on the platforms."We're proactively removing content that violates our policies and will be engaged with law enforcement, as appropriate," a Twitter representative said.Facebook said it was taking similar action."Content that praises, supports or represents the shooting or anyone responsible violates our Community Standards, and we will continue to remove as soon as we identify it," a Facebook representative said.Google, which owns YouTube, did not immediately respond to CNN's request for comment.What the suspect posted on social mediaA Twitter account linked to the suspected shooter, which has seen little activity since early 2017, shows him sharing and retweeting President Trump's tweets, posting about the border wall and liking memes disparaging Bernie Sanders and Nancy Pelosi.On February 13, 2017, Crusius' Twitter account liked a post from an anonymous account showing Trump's name spelled out with guns. Just a couple days before, he posted a tweet saying, "#BuildTheWall is the best way @POTUS has worked to secure our country so far!"A Facebook account connected to Crusius contained no posts and had just three friends.A LinkedIn profile posted under the name Patrick Crusius said he was a student at Plano High School. The profile said, "I'm not really motivated to do anything more than what's necessary to get by. Working in general sucks, but i guess a career in Software Development suits me well. I spend about 8 hours every day on the computer so that counts towards technology experience I guess."Crusius also wrote that he worked as a bagger at a grocery store for five months, until he lost his method of transportation. Although NASA's Kepler space telescope ran out of fuel and ended its mission in 2018, citizen scientists have used its data to discover an exoplanet 226 light-years away in the Taurus constellation.The exoplanet, known as K2-288Bb, is about twice the size of Earth and orbits within the habitable zone of its star, meaning liquid water may exist on its surface. It's difficult to tell whether the planet is rocky like Earth or a gas giant like Neptune.The planet is in the K2-288 system, which contains a pair of dim, cool M-type stars that are 5.1 billion miles apart, about six times the distance between Saturn and the sun. The brightest of the two stars is half as massive as our sun, and the other star is one-third of the sun's mass. K2-288Bb orbits the smaller, dimmer star, completing a full orbit every 31.3 days.K2-288Bb is half the size of Neptune or 1.9 times the size of Earth, placing it in the "Fulton gap" between 1.5 and two times the size of Earth. This is a rare size of exoplanet that makes it perfect for studying planetary evolution because so few have been found.The discovery was announced Monday at the 233rd meeting of the American Astronomical Society in Seattle."It's a very exciting discovery due to how it was found, its temperate orbit and because planets of this size seem to be relatively uncommon," said Adina Feinstein, a University of Chicago graduate student in astrophysics and lead author of a paper describing the new planet that was accepted for publication by The Astronomical Journal.Although all of the data from the Kepler mission was run through an algorithm to determine potential planet candidates, visual manpower was needed to actually look at the possible planet transits -- or dip in light when a planet passes in front of its star -- in the light curve data. America's Dairyland is in crisis. More and more Wisconsin dairy farmers are going out of business. Part of the solution might actually involve milk — but not in the way one might think.About 700 Wisconsin Dairy farms went out of business last year — more than two each day."The dairy industry has been struggling for a while, but now the problem has become acute and we must act and we must act now," said Wayne Weber, Dean of the College of Business, Industry, Life Science, and Agriculture at University of Wisconsin-Platteville.That action starts at a farm tucked away in the rolling hills of Southwest Wisconsin. Professor Tera Montgomery helps run the Pioneer Farm at UW-Platteville. The cows and calves are part of her classroom."It's a living and learning laboratory so there is something going on all the time," Montgomery said. "It's a working farm."Platteville is one of three UW schools hoping to get a share of million in research dollars from the state to start the first ever Dairy Innovation Hub — a center dedicated to tasks like finding new dairy products, but also looking for unconventional ways to use milk.One of those techniques involves combining manure and cheese byproducts in a digester, creating energy. Montgomery says that this energy could potentially run communities local to dairy farms.Students at the Pioneer Farm are also hoping to develop new products to help people with allergies or an intolerance to milk enjoy it."It's making sure we are making unique products that are going to be what the consumer wants and what the consumer needs," Montgomery said.It's not just about finding ways to produce more milk.
