The Pittsburgh Steelers have placed four more players on the COVID-19 list, including quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. According to the Associated Press, a player is added to the reserve/COVID-19 list if they have tested positive for the virus or have been in close contact with someone who has it.The move comes a day after tight end Vance McDonald went on the list after testing positive following a 24-19 win at Dallas that pushed the Steelers to 8-0. Running back Jaylen Samuels, offensive lineman Jerald Hawkins, and linebacker Vince Williams joined Roethlisberger on the list Tuesday.According to ESPN, the players are considered high-risk contacts, so they must isolate for five days after their last contact with McDonald, and they can't be at the team's practice facility during those five days.The team will test the players throughout the week before they are deemed eligible to play against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, ESPN reported.According to ESPN, Roethlisberger has been seen not wearing a mask when talking to McDonald while on the sidelines. The hurricane that swept ashore in Louisiana less than 24 hours ago has weakened to a tropical depression and is bringing heavy rain to western Mississippi.The National Hurricane Center says maximum sustained winds of what was once Hurricane Delta were clocked at 35 mph at around 10 a.m. local time Saturday. At that time, the storm was centered about 65 miles north-northwest of Jackson, Mississippi, and was moving northeast at 16 mph.Tropical storm-force winds gusts will persist for a few more hours over portions of Mississippi and southeastern Arkansas during the day Saturday.Officials say heavy rainfall will lead to flash flooding and minor river flooding across Lower Mississippi and Tennessee Valleys Saturday and into the Southern Appalachians through Sunday.“Minor to major river flooding will continue across portions of Louisiana and Mississippi through much of the week,” NHC said.Hurricane Delta made landfall as a Category 2 storm in southwestern Louisiana. The center of the storm hit land at 6 p.m. Friday near Creole, with top winds of 100 mph.Around landfall, a National Weather Service water gauge at Freshwater Canal Locks, Louisiana, reported a storm surge inundation of more than 8 feet above ground level. The jury in the trial of former Donald Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort is likely to end a second straight day of deliberations without a verdict.Jurors debating the 18 charges against Manafort asked Judge T.S. Ellis to end Friday's deliberations at 5 p.m. ET, an indication they may not be near a verdict.Their note to Ellis came shortly after the judge revealed he has received threats during the course of the proceedings and the President called the trial "very sad."Ellis did not disclose details about the threats. The National Hurricane Center has issued a hurricane watch for sections of the Gulf Coast as Louisiana and Texas prepares for a second tropical system this week.Tropical Storm Laura, which had top winds of 65 MPH as of 11 p.m. ET Monday, is expected to turn into the Gulf of Mexico and strengthen into a hurricane. The potential hurricane is expected to hit either the Texas or Louisiana coast late Wednesday.A hurricane watch is in effect from Port Bolivar, Texas, to west of Morgan City, Louisiana. A tropical storm watch is in effect from south of Port Bolivar, Texas, to San Luis Pass, Texas, and from Morgan City, Louisiana to the Mouth of the Mississippi River.As of Monday morning, Laura was dumping heavy rain on both Cuba and Jamaica. According to the National Hurricane Center, the storms could cause mudslides and urban flash floods on the islands.Laura has already caused the deaths of at least 11 people in the Dominican Republic and Haiti, while knocking out power and causing flooding Sunday.Meanwhile, Tropical Depression Marco, made landfall along the Louisiana coast Monday evening, according to the National Hurricane Center, as a minimal tropical storm. The moves are still, sharp, and strong. Similar and yet so different than the moves these students used while serving our country. In this class the yoga students are all veterans. And these poses have helped them with much more than flexibility."My post traumatic stress was going so fast," says William Walls, a Marine who served in Iraq. "You accept the fact that possibly every day you could die, that's really what it is."And his transition back to civilian life, wasn't so easy. "I ended up spending a little bit of time in jail," Walls recalls. "Had a drinking problem and I didn't realize it was a problem. And yeah and it's just been, it was hell."He tried medicine, therapy and was still battling depression when he received an unexpected recommendation."My therapist kept saying hey why don't you try yoga," Walls remembers. "And I'm like no that's for other people. I'm a big bad tough marine. I don't need yoga."He eventually tried it, and can still remember his first class. "I just started to cry," Walls says. "And I don't even know why I started to cry just something was released inside of me. Something was letting go and I realized like I like this. I like this a lot. This is better than drugs and alcohol."Now Walls is not only a yoga student, but is becoming a teacher through this program, called Comeback Yoga. Everyone in the organization is a volunteer. And co-founder Margot Timbel says every veteran, no matter their level, is welcome."Don't be intimidated if you think yoga is for flexible people or that yoga is for people who have to be able to stand up and get up and down off the mat all the time," Timbel says. " Yoga is for every body and everybody."Now these veterans are experiencing a camaraderie of a different kind."They have experienced the same things you have and may even have the same problems," says veteran Curtis Schaub.And they are hoping more who sacrificed to serve will join them on this unexpected path.The Comeback Yoga classes are free for veterans and their family members. 2043
