SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — One of the most controversial developments in San Diego's recent history is now welcoming its first residents.The One Paseo development has leased about 60 of its planned 608 housing units, most of which are still under construction.The complex aims to put everything within the reach of its residents in a live, work, play environment. The model units are even staged to make the most discriminating apartment shopper feel right at home. The fridge is stocked with sodas, candy, snacks, and even beer. "If you come here, it's like living on a vacation everyday," said Jay Rey-Hiplito, Kilroy's vice president. Rey-Hipolito says with San Diego's supply crunch, renters are willing to live in dense apartment complexes like One Paseo. The complex includes two pools (one saltwater), a community room, and an expansive gym. In all, that's why he believes the price is right for the units. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — One San Diego restaurant has been awarded one of the most prestigious accolades given to eateries.Chef William Bradley's restaurant Addison at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar was given one Michelin star in the guide's first California edition. The guide awards between one and three stars to restaurants, meaning either "a very good restaurant in its category" (one star), "excellent cooking, worth a detour" (two stars), or "exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey" (three stars).Addison, a contemporary French restaurant, was San Diego's only restaurant to receive a star and one of 90 to receive at least one star in the California guide.RELATED: Michelin names several San Diego restaurants as 'hidden gems'In a statement to 10News, Bradley said the award is "humbling." SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - On Monday evening, a city official put inspection tags the doors of the Barrio Logan warehouse where a platform collapsed this weekend, injuring 21 minors and a few adults. It happened Saturday night at Vault PK parkour gym on Main Street. The facility is closed until further notice.RELATED: Structure collapses at Barrio Logan parkour centerOn Monday, inspectors with the city of San Diego toured the warehouse as part of their investigation, which is still in its preliminary stages. A city spokesperson told us there are "definite code violations" and permit issues, but no further details were released. Cal/OSHA was notified of the incident but is not investigating since no workers were injured. Team 10 verified that Vault PK's business license became active in July. He didn't want his name used but said his son sustained injuries to his foot and his wife has a broken foot. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — More than one million of the 1.95 million mail-in ballots sent to San Diego registered voters have been returned, according to the county.The County Registrar of Voters said Friday they've received more than a million mail-in ballots back with four days left until Election Day.The Registrar said at the same time before the 2016 Presidential election, the county had only received 442,802 ballots back.Saturday, the county opened polling locations from Saturday, Oct. 31 through Monday, Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. All locations will be open again on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.Residents can locate their polling place online here. Voters can also check the back of their sample ballots and voter information pamphlets for assigned polling places.Anyone casting their ballot in person will be required to wear a face covering and to maintain physical distance at polling locations.Poll workers will have a face mask for anyone who forgets to bring on. Those unable or unwilling to wear a mask will be assisted outside to vote.The Registrar also reminds voters that campaigning or electioneering, which includes the visible display or audibly advocating for a candidate or measure, within 100 feet of a polling place or mail ballot drop-off location is prohibited. 1294
