(KGTV) – In a show of solidarity with its basketball counterpart, the Milwaukee Brewers have decided not to play Wednesday’s game following the shooting of an unarmed Black man in Kenosha, Wisconsin, according to local media reports.The Brewers, who were scheduled to host the Cincinnati Reds at home, met as a team hours before the first pitch. (KGTV) - Chula Vista Mayor Mary Salas outlined the city’s recent accomplishments and layed out its future goals in her fourth State of the City Address Tuesday night. Salas went over the growth and achievements San Diego County's second-largest city has seen over the last year, including neighborhood revitalization and the approval of the Bayfront Project. During the address, Salas spoke about events that drew large crowds over the last year.Salas said the city’s Fourth of July celebration in 2017 drew a crowd of 15,000 while more than 35,000 people attended HarborFest on the Bayfront.RELATED: Port of San Diego, Chula Vista moves forward with bayfront developmentThe Mayor also spoke about growth happening in Third Avenue Village citing the Lemon Fest, Taste of Third and Village Summer Nights in June. A popular topic throughout California in recent years is infrastructure. (KGTV) - A San Diego County psychiatrist who reportedly had offices in Chula Vista, San Ysidro, Kearny Mesa and El Cajon was in custody Thursday on suspicion of sexual battery and having sex with a patient.Leon Fajerman, 75, was charged with five counts in an arrest warrant issued Wednesday.Among the charges was a violation of Business and Professions Code 729(a), which details that any physician, psychiatrist or counselor who has sexual relations with a patient or terminates a relationship with a patient for the purpose of having sexual contact is guilty of sexual exploitation.In September 2017, court records showed that Fajerman assaulted three female patients, including one who said he groped her breasts and buttocks, according to the Union-Tribune.The complaints were turned in to the Medical Board of California. Fajerman surrendered his medical license May 15, 2018.Fajerman received his medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires and had been in practice for more than 20 years, according to US News. 1033

(KGTV) - A former Coronado Fire Department employee will spend the next decade in prison for child molestation. Mark Price, who was a firefighter for 30 years, was sentenced Thursday for sexually abusing a young family member on vacation in Hawaii last year. The girl and her mother gave their victim impact statements to the judge in Hawaii over the phone. The young victim said she feels very uncomfortable when she’s alone in a room with a man. Her mother said she’s worried how this will affect her daughter as she becomes a teenager, and that this has ruined her daughter’s life. “Mark was her role model, the man figure in her life that she trusted the most and that was all shattered and she has trust issues even with me,” said Dannika Zarghami, who knows the victim. Price faces additional charges related to the same victim in San Diego. He will be in a downtown courtroom Tuesday. 899
