Tuesday marks the final day for Americans to sign up for health insurance through the Affordable Care Act.Tuesday marks the last day for open enrollment for the public health insurance commonly referred to as "Obamacare."The COVID-19 pandemic has left millions without a job and more vulnerable to health issues than ever. While many Americans will be without employer-provided healthcare, people in most states are still able to pick a public plan through the Affordable Care Act.According to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, 3.8 million Americans have selected a health care plan provided through the Affordable Care Act during the current enrollment period. Between Nov. 29 and Dec. 5 alone, more than 900,000 Americans selected a public health care plan.To sign up for a plan through to the Affordable Care Act, visit HealthCare.gov and click "take the first steps to apply." We are in regular contact with Major League Baseball and numerous health and government agencies, including the CDC, and while we have been informed that the immediate health risk in the San Diego region is low at this time, we are proactively taking increased measures to keep our facilities clean and safe, including our Spring Training facility in Peoria, Ariz. UPDATE: San Diego Police reported Monday morning that Rafol was safe and with his family.ALLIED GARDENS (CNS) - San Diego police were today asking the public for help locating a man known to have a mental condition who was reported missing.Benjamin Rafol, 26, was last seen at about 10:45 p.m. Saturday when he left on foot from the Verge apartment complex at 6850 Mission Gorge Road, according to the San Diego Police Department.Rafol has mental issues including schizophrenia and psychosis, said SDPD Lt. Dan Sullivan.Rafol is not from the area and does not have a cell phone or a car.He is described as a Filipino male, 5 feet-8 inches tall and 160 pounds.
