WASHINGTON (AP) — The Border Patrol’s parent agency has fired four employees and suspended 38 without pay for inappropriate social media activity. The announcement comes one year after revelations of a secret Facebook group that mocked members of Congress and migrants. Customs and Border Protection said another 33 employees were disciplined with reprimands or counseling. Of 138 cases investigated, 63 were found unsubstantiated. Posts questioned the authenticity of images of a migrant father and child dead on a riverbank and depicted doctored images of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez purporting to perform a sex act on President Donald Trump. 654

WASHINGTON, D.C. (KGTV) -- President Donald Trump Tuesday night delivered a prime-time address to the nation on border security. All major networks, including ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and Fox News decided to carry the address. The battle over border security and a border wall has led to a partial government shutdown that has, as of Tuesday, lasted 18 days. In comparison, the longest government shutdown was under former President Bill Clinton and lasted 21 days. President Donald Trump said during the address that there is a "growing humanitarian and security crisis" at the U.S.-Mexico border, though crossings have fallen in recent years.RELATED: What the border looks like now, as President Trump asks for wall fundingThe President added that all Americans are hurt by uncontrolled illegal immigration. WEST HOMESTEAD, Pa (AP) — After five months of being closed due to the coronavirus, the major movie theaters chains in the U.S. are starting to reopen. AP Film Writer Lindsey Bahr visited the AMC Waterfront 22 in West Homestead, Pennsylvania, just outside of Pittsburgh, on its opening day Thursday. It is one of 113 AMC locations to open nationwide, touting retro movies and retro pricing and strict sanitary policies to entice audiences back to theaters. Many were eager to get back to the theaters, although for most the 15 cent tickets were the main draw. After opening day, back catalog films will cost a ticket. 628
