(KGTV) — During Disney's Magical Christmas Parade special Christmas Day on ABC, fans got a sneak peek of the new rides and attractions coming to "Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge" in Disneyland and Disney World next year.The glimpse showed Star Wars fans embarking on an adventure aboard the Millennium Falcon, and marching alongside the First Order or with the Resistance."I hope that when people come to 'Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge' and experience it for the first time that this place they're walking through and the characters they're seeing and the beasts and aliens and droids puts them in a position where they give themselves over to the moment," Scott Trowbridge, creative executive at Walt Disney Imagineering, said. The video preview offers a look at riders in "Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run" and within a First Order vessel on "Rise of the Resistance," two attractions coming to the land. (KGTV) - A San Diego father who lost his daughter after she was hit by shrapnel from an exploding airbag spoke to Team 10 about the latest death connected to these faulty devices.The latest death occurred in June, according to a statement released by Honda, which made the car involved in the crash. The driver, Armando Vargas Ortega, was hit by shrapnel from the airbag when a 2002 Honda Civic crashed at an intersection, a Honda spokesman said. The death occurred a few days later.Alexander Brangman understands their pain. On Sept. 7, 2014, his daughter Jewel Brangman rear-ended a van in her rental car on a freeway in Los Angeles. Four vehicles were involved. Everyone walked away from the crash, except her.Alexander Brangman said shrapnel pierced her neck. (CNN) -- Two suspects escaped from a Northern California jail early Sunday, the Monterey County Sheriff's Office said.Santos Samuel Fonseca, 21, and Jonathan Salazar, 20, were being held in the Monterey County Adult Detention Facility awaiting trial on unrelated murder charges, the sheriff's office in a message on Facebook. The two face other felonies, authorities said.The sheriff's office didn't say how the men escaped, but they said the means of escape is under investigation.The pair had been in custody since 2018. Deputies say they should be considered dangerous.The sheriff's office is asking the public to contact them at (831) 755-3722, 24 hours a day with any information on the two suspects.
