The United States Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a massive fire extinguisher recall that spans over 40 years and covers more than 120 models of fire extinguishers.According to the CPSC, it involves two styles of Kidde fire extinguishers: Plastic handle fire extinguishers and push button fire extinguishers. They may fail to discharge and the nozzle may detach.The 134 models were manufactured between Jan. 1, 1973 and Aug. 15, 2017, and includes models that have been previously recalled in March 2009 and February 2015.They were sold in red, white and silver and are either ABC- or BC-rated.According to the CPSC, there has been one death reported due to the recall. In 2014 emergency responders could not get the fire extinguishers to work during a car fire. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration says that Sunshine Mills, Inc. has expanded its voluntary recall on dog food to include more products.The products were produced between April 3-5, 2020, and contain an unsafe level of aflatoxin, a toxin produced by the mold Aspergillus flavus, and at high levels, cause illness and death in pets, the FDA said.The products were recalled after a sample contained an unsafe level of aflatoxin was found by the Louisiana Department of Agriculture & Forestry.The products include Family Pet Meaty Cuts, Heartland Farms, Champ, Field Trial, and Good Dog, distributed across the U.S. at retail stores.If you purchased any of the recalled items, the FDA says that you stop using them, throw them out, or return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.You can check to see if your product has been recalled by clicking here. 875

On Wednesday, 180,083 new cases were reported, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.According to the guidelines, in areas where COVID is spreading, WHO recommends that anyone over the age of 12 wear masks in shops, shared workplaces, and schools if they can't maintain a distance of more than 3-feet between others.They also recommend masks be worn when people visit your home if there's not adequate ventilation, or you can't be more than 3-feet or more from each other.The WHO said on top of wearing a mask, other precautions such as washing hands, avoiding touching your face, having adequate ventilation if indoors, testing, contact tracing, quarantine, and isolation should also be taken."Together, these measures are critical to prevent human-to-human transmission of COVID-19," WHO said.In areas of COVID-19 spread, the organization said healthcare workers should take part in "universal masking" in health care facilities, meaning they should wear an N95 respirator mask throughout their entire shift, including when caring for other patients.The advice applied to visitors, outpatients, and common areas such as cafeterias and staff rooms, but added administrative staff does not need to wear a mask if they are not exposed to patients.The organization also recommended that people who do vigorous physical activity should not wear masks, citing some associated risks, particularly asthma.For children, the WHO recommends children up to 5-years-old should not wear masks for source control.
