TAMPA, Fla. — Fresh Express Sunflower Crisp Chopped Salad Kits have been linked to a multi-state outbreak of E. coli, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).The CDC says at least eight people from Wisconsin, Minnesota and North Dakota have been infected with the outbreak strain of E. coli O157:H7. While it is the same strain of E. coli carried through romaine lettuce that sickened more than 100 people in multiple states earlier this month, the CDC says it is unclear if the salad kit recall is related.
