LEMON GROVE, Calif. (KGTV) - A local city councilman is making a desperate plea for tips tonight after his wife was attacked outside their home. It happened just off Palm Street after 5:30 a.m. Saturday. A disturbing picture of the incident was painted in a Facebook post by Lemon Grove City Councilman David Arambula. He writes that his wife was "brutally attacked' while going to the trash can. He adds that the attacker, "opened our gate, then hit her over the hit her over the head with a block of wood. This was completely unprovoked and unexpected."One neighbor described her as traumatized, conscious and suffering a head wound. Deputies say the 38-year-old woman escaped into her home, while the man ran off. The motive remains a big mystery. Neighbors say they've had issues with people wandering the area, high on something."There is a sober living facility a few blocks away. We've had a few incidents of people in their own zone, yelling and screaming - but nothing violent," said neighbor Tim Bossard.Arambula posted on Facebook that his wife is "getting better."The attacker is described as a black man about 30 years old, 5'9", and 175 pounds. He was wearing a white shirt, dark denim shorts, high socks, white shoes, sunglasses and a blue hat. SAN YSIDRO, Calif. (KGTV) - San Diego Police shot a man who died Wednesday at a San Ysidro mobile home park. The incident happened at Willow Road and East Calle Primera about 1:45 p.m., police confirmed.According to police, witnesses say the suspect, who was only described as a Hispanic man in his 50s, was walking through mobile home park with an AK-47-style rifle. A witness told police that the man was acting odd and appeared to be hiding from someone. Several people in the area say the man pointed the rifle at them. After police arrived on scene, the man approached the officers’ location and fired a round from the rifle, police say. An officer ordered the man to drop the weapon, but he didn’t cooperate. At that point, a witness said the man raised the weapon in the direction of the officers and gunshots were heard again before the suspect fell to the ground. Officers administered first aid until medics arrived. The suspect, who hasn’t yet been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police confirmed that one officer, a 2-and-a-half year veteran of the department, shot the man. The officer’s name isn’t being released at this time.  It`s the one thing you don`t think will ever happen.A Cumberland County, Pennsylvania couple who wishes to remain anonymous went to the new Gilligan's location on Carslile Pike, only to come back home with the wrong Members First debit card."It was just crazy busy, and we went to pay, it took a little bit but we were understanding, we left not thinking anything of it," added receiver of wrong card.She says in the days following, she and her husband tried to use what they thought was their card for purchases, but it only worked once or twice before it started to decline."We kept putting the pin in and I was like I know my pin, I use it all the time, why isn`t this working?! And it just never dawned one me to check the name just because it looked like my card. Before it declined it, we were able to pump gas with this card," she added.That`s when she and her husband realized something was wrong."We looked down at the card and saw that it wasn`t our name on the card, same bank, same color card, same everything, just not our name," said receiver of wrong card.So they traced their steps back and found out Gilligan's Carlisle pike had their card and luckily, it had not been charged.But what about the money they accidentally charged on the other person's card?We`re trying to make it right and just pay that back the guy because it wasn`t our card, it`s not right," she said.Al Pioppo at the Members First headquarters in Cumberland County says they are doing the right thing."That`s fantastic that they did go the extra step and it makes our job a lot easier, we don`t have to file a dispute for the member and if we can make the other member whole that`s fantastic," said Al Pioppo, Vice President of card services at Members First.He says situations like these happen more often than not."Not everybody`s honest," said Pioppo.And there are things to keep in mind if it happens to you.First, call your bank."We can check into the account, we`ll notify the member and then we can shut down the card immediately so that it can`t be used by anybody," he added."I think it`s so important to be honest. SAN DIEGO (CNS) - Live Well San Diego is getting some new wheels.The San Diego County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously Tuesday to purchase a vehicle that will take the services of the public wellness, safety and quality-of-life program directly to residents.The Live Well ``mobile office'' will offer disaster aid; community health services; housing assistance; and outreach to seniors, veterans and the homeless, according to planners.Supervisor Greg Cox called the rolling service a continuation of Live Well efforts that will allow the county to reach out to citizens more efficiently.The vehicle will make regular stops countywide, Health & Human Services Agency Director Nick Machionne told the board.``We don't anticipate any issues,'' Machionne said. ``The mobility will only improve our access.''The goal is to have the vehicle on the road this year, HHSA spokeswoman Sarah Sweeney said.The program will cost 0,000, which will come out of the fiscal 2019-20 budget.
