She even sought out help from pest control workers on the property. She says they told her something shocking."He caught 1,052 [scorpions] and he said, that's not even half of them," Jones said.On top of the scorpions, we noticed more problems all across Jones's apartment.There was what appeared to be black mold in the bathroom, and more in the window sill in the living room. She pointed out brown water leaking from her refrigerator, and told us she got sick from using the tap water to cook. She now uses only bottled water. Jones said she had asked management to fix all of these issues, as well as the scorpions, but nothing has been resolved.So, our reporter walked into the office and asked for the manager.A woman sitting at the front desk went to get her, but about a minute later there was a major change in tone. That same woman told our crew there would be no interview. They gave us a number to call for a comment, but after calling and leaving a voicemail, no one ever returned our calls for answers.So, we took action and went above their head to get help for this woman. We contacted the city of Phoenix who gave our team a direct number and person that Jones could talk to. 1797

She said her client was never contacted about Clifford's settlement agreement.Allred would not comment on Ryan's relationship with Clifford, or the timing of her 2016 disclosure being so close to the drafting of Clifford's agreement.Both Clifford and Ryan worked for Wicked Entertainment and both said they attended a 2006 golf outing in Lake Tahoe, also attended by Trump.Clifford said in this week's court filing that she began "an intimate relationship" with Trump that summer, which continued into 2007.At the press conference in October 2016, Ryan, joined by Allred, said she was subjected to unwanted sexual advances by Trump at the golf tournament. She said he kissed her without asking and offered to pay her for sex.Trump campaign officials denied the allegations and said the candidate did not know his accuser.Six days later, Drake's real name appeared in the agreement related to Clifford.Cohen has publicly acknowledged using his own money to facilitate the payment to Clifford in the weeks before the presidential election. "I went to the doctor and he said something's not right this time.""His words were: you have cancer," Dave said. "You're going to go through hell, but you're going to survive."Dave was diagnosed with throat cancer at the end of August. He had 35 radiation treatments and two rounds of chemo. After months of grueling recovery, he was cancer-free, and could finally sleep and eat again.Pam was by his side throughout it all."We said there's got to be other purpose here than us being sick," Dave said. "I didn't get sick to get sick. I got sick cause someone else needs us to help them get through this."As fall approached this year, Dave had one question for his wife."He said to me, 'do you plan on decorating the yard for the fall?'" Pam recalled. "And I said 'yeah I usually do.' And he said, 'I was hoping you would say that, because last year I just couldn't, I was too tired, too weak I just didn't enjoy it the way I wanted to enjoy it.'""I tried to be out here doing some work," Dave said. "But I was just so tired. I was just so exhausted from the treatment."Pam decided this year needed to be different, so she put out a call on Facebook to people she knew, and to strangers."If there's somebody you know battling cancer or survived cancer, or may have lost a battle to cancer, I would like to honor them," Pam said. With emotions still raw days after a deadly school shooting in Florida, one Ohio family is fighting back against what they think is an unfair punishment.Beth Mertel says one of her son's peers brought a toy gun to Greenbriar Middle School in Parma on Feb. 8, and pointed it at her son, Joey."He says he doesn't want to be the snitch," Mertel said. "They're 11 years old. They're kids. They're trying to find their place with their friends too."Mertel says the Parma City School District suspended the student who brought the toy gun, along with three other students, including Joey, for knowing about it but not telling an adult about it.The district stands behind the discipline, saying the three additional students were punished under a part of the Student Handbook labeled "Withholding Information."Mertel's concern is with the severity of the punishment, not the rule she admits her son should have followed."No matter how much I disagree with the suspension, you still should have said something," said Beth.Mertel says Wednesday's tragedy in Florida is an important teaching moment."I said [to Joey] you need to go home and turn on the news," said Beth. "You need to watch this, you need to understand this."The district tells us that suspension will stay on Joey's internal school record through middle school and into high school. WEST PORTSMOUTH, Ohio - In Ohio, a dad turned an awkward silence into a beautiful moment when he belted out the national anthem at a high school basketball game after the sound system failed.The moment captured on video took place before the Waverly Tigers were to take on the Portsmouth West Senators Friday night.According to CNN, the pregame rituals started as usual, with everyone standing before playing the national anthem, but then, silence.The sound system was experiencing technical difficulties.That's when Trenton Brown began to belt out "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the encouragement of his wife, with no musical backup or a microphone.After he was done singing, Brown sat down and started eating his popcorn, CNN reported.Johnny Futhey, another parent who was at the game, captured the moment and posted it on his Facebook page, where it quickly went viral.Futhey said the performance brought tears to people's eyes.Brown told CNN that he's been singing most of his life but has never performed the national anthem solo. 1042
