Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres has reportedly fired three “Ellen” producers amid allegations of a toxic work environment and sexual harassment by the producers. Variety and Hollywood Reporter confirmed the news on Monday.Hollywood Reporter reported it obtained an email sent to “Ellen” staffers by DeGeneres that producers Ed Glavin, Kevin Leman and Jonathan Norman were dismissed from the program.According to the note obtained by Hollywood Reporter, "I’m so, so sorry for what this has become. I’ve left this to be a well-oiled machine, and I realize it’s not a machine…its human beings."The note continued, "I apologize for anyone who’s feelings I’ve hurt. I’m not perfect. The American Bald Eagle, a federally protected bird once considered endangered, is facing a new threat.Conservationists say the birds are being poisoned, and the number of cases are rising — and some worry the problem will not slow down.Last year, the U.S. Department of Interior lifted a ban on hunting with lead bullets on wildlife refuges. However, it's still illegal to use lead ammo to hunt waterfowl.Many hunters say they use lead ammunition because it is heavier than steel or copper, meaning the bullet reaches the target more accurately. Lead ammo is also cheaper than steel or copper.Betsy Finch is the manager of the Fontenelle Forest Raptor Recovery, which holds dozens of birds of all kinds that need help until they are well enough to be freed or put to rest. She can easily tell when an eagle has lead poisoning."Inability to stand, convulsions, head tremors, difficulty breathing, gastrointestinal distress — because lead paralyzes the gut, so they can't digest food, dehydration," Finch said.The start of 2018 has been hard for Finch, putting her time and energy into sometimes a losing effort."Because there are others that need our help," she said.While she hopes hunters will think twice before firing off their rifles with lead bullets, she doesn't blame all hunters for the rising amounts of lead poisoning. Finch says it's often the hunter who are are the ones who find the sick eagles and bring them to the recovery center. 1490

TAMPA, Fla. — Within one month, someone splashed four cars with an acid-like liquid in busy Tampa parking lots.Deputies are not sure if the incidents are related. The most recent happened in a shared parking lot near the AMC Veterans movie theater and Starbucks off Anderson Road.The scenario is the same in all of these situations. Some sort of corrosive liquid is poured onto the doors of the cars which damages paint, metal and plastic on the car.Two panels on Gary Schaff’s 2015 white Mercedes had to be repainted. He was parked in the lot off Anderson Road two nights in a row as he and his family caught up on the latest Marvel movies at AMC."When we came out to the car which was a little bit of a walk away from the theater, it looked as if there was almost shaving cream or foam on the side of the car,” Schaff said. "We're like, what is that?”As his family got closer, they realized the white paint had bubbled up. By the time they got home a lot of it had flaked off and exposed the metal underneath. "I don't even know what I would say to someone who thinks it’s a good idea to do something like that,” Schaff said. "What does it accomplish exactly?"Hillsborough County deputies say a 2007 BMW was vandalized the same way in a Publix parking lot off N. Dale Mabry on April 11 and a 2017 Porsche SUV was damaged by a corrosive liquid in the Heath Integrated parking lot on April 23. All three attacked occurred within a few miles of each other. The Tampa Police Department responded to a 2011 Audi with similar damage at International Mall on April 15."It's just to me a completely random thing, and it's really hard to prevent,” Schaff said. TAMPA, Fla. — Commuters at Tampa International were hit with a serious dose of puppy love on Friday afternoon.The pup-arazzi was on hand to capture the moment a service dog went into labor while waiting for a flight at Tampa International Airport. Elli, short for Eleanor Rigby, is a two-year-old Labrador Retriever and service dog.
