A bus aide with Mesa, Arizona Public Schools has been arrested for the sexual abuse of a preteen boy with autism. Mesa police report that on Tuesday they arrested 18-year-old Samantha Rose Poirier. They say she reported to them that the preteen boy tried to kiss her and asked to see her "girl parts." Police say the victim, who is reported to have the mentality of a 7-year-old, gave a much different story. He says Poirier grabbed both sides of his face and kissed him, then made him touch her breast under her shirt. Police report that they reviewed the bus video and audio recordings, which allegedly show Poirier grabbing the boy’s face and kissing him as the boy described. They say the video also shows Poirier facing the victim and nodding as the victim pulls her shirt down and reaches into it. Poirier reportedly threatened the boy by saying they would both be in trouble if he told anyone about the "kiss and touch." Poirier was arrested for sexual abuse and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. In a statement, Mesa Public Schools said Poirier was hired in August 2017 as a part-time bus aide. She was placed on administrative leave Monday, and dismissed from employment on Wednesday."Mesa Public Schools' first priority is the safety and security of our students," Executive Director Helen Hollands said. "On Friday, March 23, transportation department administration contacted Mesa Police Department when they learned of possible inappropriate behavior between Samantha Poirier and a student. A livestream announcer for the Madden 19 tournament in Jacksonville, Florida describes the terrifying moments a gunman opened fire, killing two people and wounding several others.The NOW's correspondent Kumasi Aaron sat down with Toshiba Sharon, who was at the venue GLHF Game Bar, when 24-year-old David Katz, armed with a handgun, fired multiple shots at gamers.Sharon says after hearing the first shot, just several minutes into the game, he believed they were experiencing technical difficulties.“Shortly after the second shot rang, that’s when I knew that, you know, it was a gun, and someone was shooting,” recalls Sharon. “So, my attention was drawn straight to the shooter and he was pointing inside the room. From where he came in, it was like a walkway and an entrance, so it’s pretty much just one entrance in and it was one entrance out.”  Sharon says he was sitting by a gamer, who he says was shot in the chest twice.“I watched a boy get shot in his neck, get shot in his head, says Sharon, choking up as he speaks. “Blood right under him, stooped over, lifeless, and brains on the floor…“I watched people run and terrified.”Sharon says the shooting lasted for about 40 seconds. He said when it ended, he stayed in the room to talk to the victims, some he knew. Sharon says he and an off-duty firefighter went to the aid of a victim who was face down on the ground. He says that victim was one of the two men killed in the attack.“I just want people to understand--the kids that were lost yesterday, the men that were lost yesterday--that the brotherhood that they were a part of, for their family members to understand, that they their son, brother or father didn’t die alone, that they died in the midst of family,” says Sharon. “They died, it was very tragic and unfortunate, but they died, you know, their last moments on earth, last moments alive, were doing something they loved.”Sharon says the actions of one person should tear apart a community, but allow a community to come together and not become numb to mass shootings in the country.Two people were killed in the attack. They were part of the famous squadron known as the "Jolly Rogers."On March 11, 1944, while on a mission to bomb Japanese anti-aircraft batteries around Hansa bay in the South Pacific, the 11 person crew was shot down by enemy fire."My family had been involved in what was then a four-year research project," Althaus said.They gave that research to Project Recover. The group of marine scientists, archeologists, and historians went to work using science and advanced technology to find missing aircraft with servicemen still onboard."It's really easy to look on a map and say, 'hey, x marks the spot.' And it turns out that x could be several square miles,'" said Eric Terrill, Co-Founder of Project Recover and a Scripps OceanographerIn October 2017, Terrill and his team set out on a three-week expedition.  "These robots allow us to do very detailed surveys of the seabed using scanning sonar," he said.After 11 days on the water covering roughly six thousand acres and talking to fishermen, they found the wreckage."It was a mixture of elation and sadness," he said. "It's remarkable to think that [families] carry this loss for that many decades and then to actually see it play out is just amazing."Lieutenant Kelly's family has already been in contact with the families of seven other crew members on the plane. A decline in Chevrolet Cruze sales is what General Motors officials say is to blame for an employee reduction at the Lordstown, Ohio plant. Up to 1,500 workers could be affected by layoffs this summer.According to WKBN-TV, the plant will move to a one-shift schedule on June 18. Between 1,000 to 1,500 workers will remain on the shift. A former waitress who stole money from a Mexican restaurant in Tucson more than 20 years ago is trying to make things right, KTAR reports.She sent a letter to El Charro Café along with ,000 in cash last weekend. She wrote that she had worked there in the 1990s and had stolen money from the restaurant.“One of the waiters I worked with had encouraged me to ‘forget’ to ring in a few drinks a shift and pocket the cash.
