FORT IRWIN, Calif. – The U.S. Army conducts tough realistic training at the Fort Irwin National Training Center in the deserts of California. There, you’ll find soldiers spending a 21-day rotation before they deploy overseas. “Our training area is bigger than the state of Rhode Island and its nickname is ‘The Box,’” said Sgt. Billy Dolan. “When they’re in ‘The Box,’ they’ll conduct 10 days of force on force training, followed by 10 days of live fire training,” said Lt. Four people will face prosecution over the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17, five years after the plane crashed in eastern Ukraine killing 298 people, international investigators said Wednesday.The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) said it would issue national and international arrest warrants Wednesday for the four suspects. Three Russians, Igor Girkin, Sergey Dubinskiy and Oleg Pulatov, were named, along with Ukrainian Leonid Kharchenko.According to investigators, Girkin is a former colonel of Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB), Dubinskiy was employed by Russia's military intelligence agency GRU and Pulatov was a former soldier of the Russian special forces, Spetsnaz-GRU.Ukraine's Kharchenko had no military background, but is believed to have led a combat unit in Donetsk in July 2014.Investigators said they would not ask for the suspects to be extradited because the Russian and Ukrainian constitution prohibits extraditing nationals.They added that they would ask Russia to cooperate with the investigation, and both countries to question the suspects about the charges.Flight MH17 was shot out of the sky over territory held by pro-Russian separatists as it flew from Amsterdam to the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur in July 2014. Hurricane Dorian devastated the Bahamas, when it made landfall as a Category 5 storm this week. Sarah Ann Showell, whose family owns a resort on the island, has now seen the catastrophic damage for herself. “They don’t look anything [like] they’re supposed to,” she says. “Entire buildings are flattened, trees are all snapped like toothpicks, there’s no greenery left.”She flew over Green Turtle Cay, a Bahamian island hit by hurricane Dorian, to see what the storm had done. "It’s actually hard to figure out what you’re looking at, and these are places that you know very well," Showell says.Showell needed to see what the storm did to her family's resort, Green Turtle Club, the largest employer on the island with about 50 employees. While the storm left its mark, she says everyone she knows who stayed on this island for Dorian is safe. I.M. Pei, the Chinese born architect who was best known for designing the courtyard to the Louvre in Paris, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland and the Kennedy Library in Boston, has died at the age of 102, the New York Times confirmed. The cause of Pei's death has not been announced. Pei moved to the United States at age 22, and learned from renowned architects such as Le Corbusier. Pei's first professional design was built in Atlanta in 1949. It was a simple mixed-used facility, which was torn down in 2013. In 1964, Pei was picked by John F. Kennedy's family to design his presidential library. The library ended up taking nearly 15 years to complete. In the 1981, Pei's design of the Louvre's pyramid courtyard opened to the public.
