(KGTV) - Neighbors report gas thieves are targeting Pacific Beach drivers.Neighbor Jaden Perez said she parked her car around 10 p.m. Monday night and when she came out Tuesday morning around 6:30 a.m. she notices her car wasn't how she left it, "the gas it was left open and then the cap was hanging out and I was like that was kind of weird."When she turned on her car, she noticed the gauge read 1/2 tank instead of the three-quarters she had the night before."It ruined my day and it was something that was petty," she said, frustrated. "I hear about people, their paint getting messed with, them getting broken in, and I'm in a nicer neighborhood and then that happened, I was just really bummed.""I think there's people who are not working period that are trying to just burglarize and steal and get whatever they want," neighbor David Como said. He wants the police to step in and make their presence known. He said for now, neighbors will keep an eye out.Jaden posted on Nextdoor to a roaring response, "I've had a lot of comments on my own post on Nextdoor lots of people saying hey you know this has happened to me too and so I was like, 'Oh my joke is truth!' Police in North Carolina are searching for a suspect in the shooting death of a man who was killed while streaming live on Facebook, according to CNN affiliate WSOC-TV.The shooting took place Monday in the town of Wingate. The victim has been identified as Prentis Robinson, 55.Robinson's Facebook page is filled with live videos of him playing instruments and walking down the street with a selfie-stick.Nothing seemed different when the 55-year-old was filming live Monday morning, selfie-stick in hand, complaining about a family member who Robinson claims stole one of his three cellphones. According to WSOC, the video showed him stopping at the Wingate Police Department to report the alleged theft.The Facebook video shows Robinson as he left the station, walked up a hill toward his home and exchanged a few words with another man.Then there was gunfire and Robinson, along with his phone, fell to the ground.CNN has reached out for further comment from the Wingate Police Department.Wingate police Chief Donnie Gay told WSOC, "I'd just spoke to him, it was, I just ... it's hard to say anything about that. I just got through talking to him."Robinson was found face down on the street. Douglas Cleveland Colson, 65, was identified by police as a suspect in the shooting, and is now wanted on a murder charge, according to WSOC.The fatal shooting led to a lockdown at nearby Wingate University, which is less than a mile from the scene. PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies say that a Florida man who robbed a bank on Thursday began throwing money out the window of his getaway car as he led police on a chase.According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, just before 4 p.m., 37-year-old Anquan Walters walked into the Hancock Bank in unincorporated Clearwater wearing long pants, a long sleeve shirt, gloves, glasses with a fake beard and pantyhose over his head.Witnesses told investigators that Walters was carrying a black handgun when he jumped over the counter, he ordered people to the ground and demanded money. Walters was given an undisclosed amount of cash and he exited the bank.Detectives say Walters got into a 1998 Toyota Camry and fled northbound on U.S. Highway 19.As Walters was fleeing from the bank, multiple dye packs exploded and Walters started throwing cash out of the window of the Camry, onto U.S. Highway 19 North, deputies say.A viewer shared a photo of the money scattered on U.S. 19 with Scripps station WFTS in Tampa.Responding deputies spotted Walter's Camry traveling northbound towards the intersection of U.S. Highway 19 and Curlew Road. Deputies tried stopping Walters but he fled in the Camry at a high rate of speed, eastbound on Curlew Road from U.S. Highway 19 North.Deputies initiated a vehicle pursuit and successfully deployed a tire deflation device that deflated the tires on Walter's Camry as he approached Countryside Boulevard.Detectives say Walters lost control of the Camry and crashed into two vehicles that were stopped at the intersection of Curlew Road and Countryside Boulevard.Detectives say Corporal Phillip Love was pursuing Walter's Camry at the time of the crash. Corporal Love was unable to stop his marked 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe cruiser before crashing into Walter's Camry at the intersection.Walters reportedly abandoned the damaged Camry and fled on foot northbound into a nearby apartment complex. Deputies chased Walters on foot and apprehended him shortly after.Detectives say Walter's clothes were covered in colored dye as a result of the bank's dye pack exploding.The driver of one of the vehicles Walter hit was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No other injuries have been reported.Detectives arrested Walters and transported him to the Pinellas County Jail.Walters was charged with one count of Armed Robbery, one count of Fleeing and Eluding Law Enforcement, one count of Leaving the Scene of a Crash with Bodily Injury and one count of Leaving the Scene of a Crash with Property Damage.The investigation continues. 2599

PINELLAS PARK, Fla. — Pinellas Park Detectives have arrested a maintenance worker for video voyeurism after they say he placed video recording devices above the ceiling tiles inside women's restrooms.John Gibbs, 49, of Largo, was arrested on Thursday evening and charged with 14 counts of Video Voyeurism.Detectives say the investigation began on March 2 when Pinellas Park Police were called to an office building located at 12360 66th Street North to investigate a suspicious incident in one of the women's restrooms inside the building.  During the initial investigation, officers located two separate video recording devices above the ceiling tiles inside two different women's restrooms.  After conducting a search of the recording devices, detectives observed video images of multiple women and two men who had been recorded using the restroom.During the investigation, detectives were able to identify Gibbs from images captured on the recording device, as being a maintenance worker for the office building.  Over the last several days, detectives worked to identify victims on the videos.  So far, 14 different victims have been identified. However, several more victims remain unidentified, according to police.Detectives have notified the office building management of their findings. Police say that the office building management has since notified the 60 different small businesses inside the building where the common restrooms are located.Police say that they believe Gibbs had been recording such videos since the beginning of February 2018, before being discovered. The investigation is ongoing as detectives continue to identify other victims. The CDC said on Thursday that an estimated 27,000 people were sickened, and eight died, from swimming-related diseases from 2000 to 2014 in hotel pools and hot tubs. According to CDC figures, 1 out of 3 swimming-related disease outbreaks originated from hotels. The CDC says that Cryptosporidium (also known as “Crypto”), Pseudomonas, and Legionella caused most of the outbreaks in swimming venues. Of the 27,000 people sickened, the majority had Crypto, which is a parasite tough enough to survive even in properly maintained pools.“Swallowing just a mouthful of water with Crypto in it can make otherwise healthy kids and adults sick for weeks with watery diarrhea, stomach cramps, nausea, and vomiting,” said Michele Hlavsa, R.N., M.P.H., chief of CDC’s Healthy Swimming Program. “Chlorine cannot kill Crypto quickly. We need to keep it out of the water in the first place. Don’t go into the water, and don’t let your kids go into the water, if sick with diarrhea.”The CDC said if a pool, hot tub, or water playground is not cleaned properly, bacteria can grow and form a slime called biofilm on wet surfaces. Legionella and Pseudomonas can live in this biofilm. The CDC has offered the following tips to prevent getting sick while swimming:  1401
