RAMONA, Calif. (KGTV) -- Authorities are searching for a person suspected in a deadly shooting in Ramona Thursday morning.The shooting was reported just before 6 a.m. in the 600 block of Pine Street, San Diego County sheriff's officials said. The reporting party told deputies they found a man on the ground in front of a neighboring home.The man was taken to a nearby hospital but did not survive. The man was not identified.Details on what led to the shooting remain unclear, but a sheriff’s official told ABC 10News the incident is being investigated as a homicide.With deputies searching on the ground, a law enforcement helicopter hovered over the area and announced a search for a male wearing a black hoodie. President Donald Trump says he is ready to get back on the campaign trail despite battling COVID-19.Trump said Thursday during an interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity that he is hoping to hold a rally in Florida on Saturday night if his campaign team has enough time to put one together.Trump's push for a rally comes just days after he was hospitalized for coronavirus. Reports indicate that Toys R Us could be the next retailer to file for bankruptcy.The Wall Street Journal reports that the toy retailer could file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the next few weeks, just a few months out from the crucial holiday season.According to the Journal, the chain's suppliers are hesitant to ship new items before putting money down. The company is facing a debt of billion stemming from a leveraged buyout in 2005.Toys R Us has already received most of its holiday shipments, but could soon be prevented from receiving any additional toys before the shopping season begins.Toys R Us is just one of a number of retailers who have struggled as Americans have started doing more of their shopping online. President Trump may be finding pockets of support from inside the very state he's suing.It's because a growing number of local governments are considering joining the administration's fight against California's new sanctuary laws.One of those laws prohibits state and local authorities from notifying federal immigration when they arrest an undocumented immigrant. There are exceptions for serious and violent crimes. Escondido Mayor Sam Abed opposes the sanctuary laws, and hopes his City Council will do the same and file a legal brief in support of the federal suit. The council meets April 4. "We have deported so many gang members because of our coordination with ice, and we'd like to continue to do that," abed said.
