UFA, Russia, July 10 (Xinhua) -- Leaders of all member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) have confirmed their attendance to the commemorative activities marking the 70th anniversary of the victory of Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression in September in Beijing, said a Chinese official here Friday.

The dialogue comes as relations have shown signs of improvement since November last year, when Chinese President Xi Jinping and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe held their first meeting since the duo took office during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Leaders' Meeting in Beijing, in a sign of thawing ties between the world's second and third largest economies.

Former president Jiang Zemin, who is not in Beijing at the current time, sent a wreath and his condolences.

Wang, who is here on an official visit, was speaking at a symposium attended by Chinese companies operating in the South American country.

"The OECD Development Centre has carried out significant research and dialogue on inclusive growth, economic restructuring, poverty reduction, and sustainable development," stated Li Wei.
