The students-turned-activists who survived a mass shooting at their Florida high school last month are featured on the glossy cover of Time magazine. The magazine on Thursday revealed the cover of its April 2 issue, which features Marjory Stoneman Douglas students who are leading the national conversation about gun control in the wake of the Valentine's Day shooting that claimed the lives of 17 students and faculty members.Emma González, David Hogg, Cameron Kasky, Alex Wind and Jaclyn Corin all appear on the cover, with the word "ENOUGH," written in bold letters and imposed across the image. The accompanying story was also posted on Time's website. In the five weeks since the massacre, the Parkland, Florida, students have been transformed into high-profile gun control advocates, leading school walkouts and meeting with lawmakers as they demand steps be taken to address the issue of gun violence in America. The cover was revealed two days before the students and their allies rally in Washington for the March for Our Lives, a demonstration organized by the student group #NeverAgain and the gun control organization Everytown for Gun Safety. 1185

The Washington Post says Saudi Arabia's announcement about the death of contributing columnist Jamal Khashoggi is not an explanation at all, but a "coverup."And the Post is putting even more pressure on President Trump, the U.S. Congress and other countries to hold the Saudis accountable."The Saudis cannot be allowed to fabricate a face-saving solution to an atrocity that appears to have been directed by the highest levels of their government," Post publisher and CEO Fred Ryan said.Saturday's message from Ryan is the latest in a series of strong statements from the paper.Ever since Khashoggi was reported missing on October 2, the Post has been lobbying for information about his whereabouts and justice for his death in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. The paper, which is owned by Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, has put its full weight behind the Khashoggi case. 870

The wild ride on Wall Street just got crazier. The Dow dropped about 345 points, or 1.4%, on Tuesday, completely reversing a 244-point gain from early in the day. The selloff followed Monday's 670-point spike. The Nasdaq plunged nearly 3% -- wiping out nearly all of Monday's huge gains for the tech sector. The Nasdaq is now up just 1.5% on the year.Facebook, Twitter, Tesla and Nvidia all fell sharply. Netflix tumbled 6%, its biggest decline in two years."We started bleeding when large tech got hit hard," said Art Hogan, chief market strategist at B. Riley B.Investors poured money into bonds Tuesday. The 10-year Treasury yield slipped to 2.77%, the lowest since early February. But the sinking yields also narrowed the closely-watched gap between short and long-term rates, known as the yield curve."That has persistently been a signal of an economic slowdown," said Hogan. "I don't think that's the case here."A "flattening" yield curve also makes it harder for banks to make money on the difference between what they lend out and pay interest on. Bank of America, Wells Fargo and PNC fell more than 2% apiece.The-CNN-Wire 1135
