There is a nationwide voluntary recall of almost 19,000 bottles of hand sanitizer over concerns the mixture contains methanol. The Food and Drug Administration announced Monday the company ITECH361 is recalling their All Clean Hand Sanitizer, Moisturizer and Disinfectant sold in one liter bottles. The 18,940 recalled bottles have UPC Code 628055370130.According to the FDA, substantial exposure to methanol (wood alcohol) can cause nausea, vomiting, headache, blurred vision, and more serious conditions including death. Retailers are encouraged to pull it from their shelves, those who purchased it are asked to stop using it and return the product for a refund.Consumers with questions regarding this recall can contact Corina Enriquez by phone number (888)405-4442 or e-mail at corina@itech361.com, Monday through Friday beginning July 6, 9:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (MDT). TIJUANA, Mexico (KGTV) — Health conditions continue deteriorating Friday in Tijuana where thousands of migrants are camping, contributing to the opening of a second shelter 45 minutes away. The new shelter in an area known as El Barretal has a roof, dry floor and can house 3,000 migrants, Rodolfo Olimpo, a representative from Baja California State's Special Committee on Migration Issues said. Friday, about a thousand were shuttled by bus to the new shelter. There are no lighting fixtures, but migrants are using portable lights as well as flashlights. In the first shelter, the floor is mud, puddles everywhere and the entire area is littered with junk. One man brushed his teeth over a muddy puddle.10News Reporter Laura Acevedo went to Tijuana Thursday and spoke with the migrants living in squalor. One woman from Honduras, Leida Reyes, told her she thinks this is better than what they lived with back home. She said she couldn't walk around freely without fear, her children never attended school because it was too dangerous. When asked about the President's hard stance on migrants, she said she thinks he'll have a change of heart when he understands they're coming from a country that they can no longer live in safely.Reyes has been in TJ for about 20 days and is waiting for her number to be called so her case for asylum can be processed. No one has stated how long either shelter will be in place. 1418

Things at grocery stores seem relatively calm now, in comparison to how it was back in March. Remember the toilet paper fiasco? But as we hear talk about another wave of coronavirus infections, some are wondering if grocery supplies will take another hit.We went to experts who track grocery data. They say what we saw earlier this year was historic.“Those mid-March weeks were the largest we've seen in the history of grocery shopping. I don't expect to ever see big waves like that again,” said Anne-Marie Roerink, President of 210 Analytics.People first stocked up on just cleaning items and then they started stocking up on all types of items, including pantry foods and that precious commodity – toilet paper.Roerink says that while it is possible people will stockpile again later this year, toilet paper may not be on the list. Cleaning items may become hard to find again. The timing of all this really depends on the virus and how cases evolve.“Should it come down to where the virus is big enough of a wave or we might go back down to a shelter in place, or where people feel more safe at home than they do out and about, I can see where our grocery spending will go back up,” said Roerink.Earlier this year, holidays like Mother’s Day and Father’s Day actually contributed to the clearing of grocery shelves. They’re typically holidays where we go out to eat, but that wasn't really an option in most places. So, people had to improvise.“All of a sudden, retail had to absorb all those dollars to take care of mom and cook her a fun brunch or dinner, so we had an enormous peak again for Mother's Day and Father's Day,” said Roerink. That means holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas could change how things work out at the grocery store as well.Generally, supply and demand has started to normalize, but grocery sales are still about 10% higher than what they normally are. Though, prices could still change depending on the demand. 1952
