SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — The brother of the man accused of fatally shooting a Good Samaritan on Interstate 15 in October has been arrested and will also be charged in connection with the murder.Edson Acuna, 24, was taken into custody in Mexico and turned over to U.S. authorities Tuesday, according to San Diego Police. Acuna's brother, Brandon, was arrested shortly after 21-year-old Curtis Adams was shot and killed on I-15 during the early hours of Oct. 27.Adams, a San Diego Navy sailor, and his girlfriend had stopped their vehicle on southbound I-15 just before 2:30 a.m. to check on an apparent stranded vehicle near the Mountain View area, said San Diego police homicide Lt. Anthony Dupree. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - The boy who was critically injured in a crash in San Ysidro joined his parents Friday outside the courthouse where the alleged driver is on trial.Prosecutors said Constantino Banda Acosta, an undocumented immigrant, was drunk May 6 when he hit the Lake family on their way home from Disneyland.Lennox Lake was hospitalized for 18 days with multiple skull fractures. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Wednesday confirmed a second case of the novel coronavirus in San Diego County. According to CDC, the patient was aboard a flight from Wuhan, China that arrived at MCAS Miramar last week. UC San Diego Health confirmed the individual is being treated by the hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time.
