(CNN) -- Two of three children who went missing after floodwater swept up their vehicle in central Arizona have been found dead, the Gila County Sheriff's Office said Saturday.The search continues for the third child, authorities said.The children vanished Friday when a car crossing Tonto Creek, about 60 miles west of the New Mexico border, was caught in flooding around 4 p.m. local time, Gila County Undersheriff Mike Johnson said.Four children and one adult managed to get out of the vehicle and were stranded on an island in the creek, where they were rescued by a helicopter from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, Johnson said.A woman who was in the water also got out, but three children were unaccounted for, the undersheriff said.The children and two adults were all in the car together when it was overtaken by floodwater, Johnson told CNN. It's unclear how they know each other and how old they are.An Arizona Department of Public Safety helicopter joined the search Friday night, along with local authorities and the fire department, Johnson said.A flood warning was in effect for Gila County until 8:45 p.m. local time on Friday, according to the National Weather Service in Phoenix. 1209

(KGTV) - A proposed bill moving through California's legislature would — hopefully — eliminate fears of an awful driver's license photo.SB-1407 would allow drivers to have the ultimate say in their license photo. The bill would let drivers take up to three pictures at the Department of Motor Vehicles and then choose which one they like best.Drivers would also be allowed to have their photo taken outside of the DMV by a pre-approved photography center.RELATED: California DMVs now taking applications for Real ID driver's licenses, identification cardsWhile all of this sounds great for drivers who loathe their license photo, it could come at a cost. The bill says there would be an extra fee for each additional photo but didn't specify how much. That revenue would be put toward driver's education programs at public schools.So far, the bill has passed through the state Senate Transportation Committee Tuesday and has been referred next to the Committee on Appropriations. 1002

(KGTV) - A New York woman is being charged for poisoning a "look-alike" friend via cheesecake and stealing her identity documents.Viktoria Nasyrova, 42, of Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, was charged with attempted murder, burglary, and other charges for allegedly poisoning a Queens woman, who resembled Nasyrova, Queens District Attorney Richard Brown announced Wednesday.Investigators said Nasyrova gifted cheesecake laced with the Russian-made tranquilizer phenazepam to the victim on Aug. 28, 2016. The victim began eating the dessert before falling ill and passing out.BIZARRE CRIME: Construction workers dragged into ditch in bizarre hit-and-run"This is a bizarre and twisted crime that could have resulted in the death of a Queens woman, whose only fault was that she shared similar features with the defendant," Brown said in a release. "Luckily, the Queens woman survived the poisoning."The victim and Nasyrova resemble one another, officials said: Both have dark hair, the same skin complexion, and speak Russian.According to investigators, the victim's last memory that day was of Nasyrova sitting beside her in her home.BIZARRE CRIME: Fight allegedly breaks out on flight due to flatulenceThe victim was discovered the following day unconscious in her bed, wearing lingerie, with phenazepam pills scattered around her — as if she had attempted suicide, officials said. She was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.When the victim returned home from the hospital, however, she realized her passport, employment authorization card, a gold ring, and cash were all missing. Investigators said those items were later recovered when Nasyrova was finally arrested on March 20, 2017.Nasyrova faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted. She is being held without bail and will appear in court on May 25.According to People Magazine, Nasyrova has also eluded Russian authorities and is charged in the 2014 death of 54-year-old Alla Aleksenko. People reported Nasyrova seduced the lead detective of that case to help her flee the country. 2117

(KGTV) -- A South Bay woman is mourning the death from COVID-19 of her boyfriend and her 'second chance' at love.Derik Williams started feeling sick in early July."Felt very fatigued, no cough," said Carol Althoff.Five days later, Althoff, his girlfriend of four years, brought him to the ER."Outside, they took his temperature and it was 101°.Williams was admitted and put on a sleep apnea CPAP device to help him breathe. A few days later, she got a call."He called home and he was his old self. 'Hi, babe, how are you?'" said Althoff.She was expecting a call the next day about him coming home.Instead, a doctor called about Williams needing to be placed on a ventilator. She talked to Willliams on the phone."We cried together. We said our 'I love you.' It was extremely emotional," said Althoff.A few days later, William - a father of 4 and a grandfather - passed away, days before his 55th birthday. Althoff, whose first husband died of cancer, says she didn't think she would find love again until she met Williams a few years later."Derek was loving. He was happy and so giving," said Althoff.She says the Air Force veteran was always volunteering, whether it was for The Rock Church, Stand Down, or soup kitchens."It was part of who he was. He wanted to be a better person, better than the person he was yesterday," said Althoff.As for where the coronavirus came from, Althoff isn't sure. She says Williams was diligent about masks and mostly went to the grocery store and his work, an aerospace company where he worked as a forklift operator. Althoff is making an urgent plea to COVID-19 seriously."Please, wear your mask. If not for you, then for the person you may be encounter," said Althoff.A Gofundme campaign has been set up to help with expenses.Williams did suffer from underlying conditions, including a heart condition and diabetes.The Rock Church issued the following statement:"We are deeply saddened at the loss of Derik Williams.
