Brad Sherman, (D-CA), said Thursday he will reintroduce articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump, the LA Times reported.The articles of impeachment for high crimes and misdemeanors were cosponsored by fellow Democratic Rep. Al Green of Texas. Sherman originally filed articles of impeachment in July 2017 claiming the president had obstructed justice in the Russian investigation."There is no reason it shouldn’t be before the Congress," Sherman told the LA Times. (KGTV) -- Margaret Wardlow doesn’t dwell on what happened to her one night in 1977 - a night that she became victim number 27 of the Golden State Killer. Just because she doesn’t dwell on it, doesn’t mean she doesn’t remember. Wardlow was the youngest of the serial man's victims, just 13 when she was tied up in her Sacramento home and raped.On Wednesday Joseph James DeAngelo, 72, was arrested in connection with a series of killings, rapes and burglaries that occurred around the state in the 1970s and ‘80s. Authorities from jurisdictions across California gathered in Sacramento to announce the arrest of a suspect in the decades-long East Area Rapist/Golden State Killer case.RELATED: Suspect identified, arrested in East Area Rapist/Golden State Killer caseIt's an arrest that brought back the memories of that night for Wardlow. She says at first, she had no idea her attacker was the Golden State Killer - aka the east area rapist, aka the original night stalker in her home. It wasn't until she looked up at the clock and saw it was 2:30 a.m. that she realized who he was.  "'This is the east area rapist, and this is what’s going on,'" she recalls thinking. "It was time for me to realize, ‘I’m dealing with a serial rapist.'”The man also tied up her mom, stacking plates on top of her so he would know if she moved.What he didn't know about Wardlow is that before her attack, she was on top of every story that came out in the newspaper about him. Knowing that he seemed to thrive on powerless victims, when he asked in a harsh whisper, ‘Do you want to die? Now that it has, she’s thrilled for the other victims and their families and the diligent detectives who never gave up."I was really concerned that people would go to their graves without knowing who killed their loved ones," she said. When asked if she plans to attend the court dates of Joseph James DeAngelo, she told 10News she will, and wants to look him in the eyes and ask, "Why?"    2594

(KGTV) — Stone Brewery's move on Berlin may have been too much, too soon.The San Diego-based brewery has decided to sell their Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Berlin facility to Brewdog, a Scottish craft brewer that owns and operates a series of pubs around the world.The decision was attributed to the cost of maintaining the 1901 gasworks property used as Stone's facility, as well as Germany's construction industry, Stone's co-founder Greg Koch wrote on the company's blog.. He went on to say, "the truth is, the construction industry in Berlin is broken. Yes, there’s a lot of bureaucracy. (KGTV) - The body of a San Diego Navy veteran reported missing was found in a Dallas suburb this week, and Texas investigators he had been dead for three years. Ronald Wayne White, 51, was a defense contractor who served on the USS Nimitz in the 1980s. He vanished in 2016. “My son would call me at least twice a month,” said White’s mother Doris Stevens told WFAA. “He would call me from Egypt. He would call me from the Philippines. An employee of the apartment complex went to the unit to discover why the tenant wasn’t using any water and found White’s body on the kitchen floor. "It is sadness....to see that a veteran, a decorated veteran, had to go out like this,” said Jerry Hannon, a friend of white. DeSoto Police said there was no sign of foul play. White had a month-to-month lease with the money automatically withdrawn from his account and his apartment was well-insulated, according to police.
