It also included a sticker of Hillary Clinton in a sniper's crosshairs and a "CNN Sucks!" sticker.Police covered the van in a tarp and drove it to a nearby facility.It's unclear if the van belongs to Cesar Sayoc, the man arrested in connection with the package bombs, though it was located in a parking lot of the same auto parts store in which Sayoc was arrested.At least 12 package bombs were sent to liberal politicians and donors this week. A Mississippi school district has apologized and a high school band director has been suspended after the band staged a halftime skit that depicted police being held at gunpoint.The controversial skit came as the Forest Hill High School band from Jackson performed Friday during a football game against Brookhaven High School to the south. A principal at Education Alternatives in Bedford, Ohio is accused of having a sexual relationship with a student at the school, who was 17 at the time."He says the relationship started when they were upstairs in the gym alone, that she kissed him on the mouth," said Bedford Police Deputy Chief Rick Suts. "Since then, there had been numerous encounters in her van."The teenager told police that his relationship with Courtney Alfred continued for months.Police said the former student came to them last week. Suts said the school knew about the alleged relationship but after their own investigation said the allegations were not credible. Bedford police disagree."He's saying that he took video of them having sex and in that encounter, you see a tattoo. We got a search warrant to see her tattoo, that tattoo matches the one on the video," added Suts.Police said there were also text messages and that money was transferred from Alfred to the teenager. Police said the teen told them it was to keep him from telling her husband.Scripps station WEWS in Cleveland tried to contact Alfred at her home, but there was no answer. WEWS also called the central office for Education Alternatives, but the call was not returned. WEWS also left two messages for her attorney, Vince Ruffa, but Ruffa also did not return messages.Alfred was arrested. She was in court last week facing a sexual battery charge. A rare and deadly complication from the coronavirus infection is now being reported in adults, after several deadly cases in children earlier this year.Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) was reported in teens and children after the start of the pandemic, with tragic outcomes. More than 1,000 cases have been reported to the CDC as of October, of those about 20 children have died.There are now more than two dozen reported cases in adults, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and it is being called MIS-A, for “adults.”The CDC warns that symptoms of MIS-A can present in patients who did not have COVID-19 symptoms but later tested positive for COVID-19 antibodies.“These patients might not have positive SARS-CoV-2 PCR or antigen test results, and antibody testing might be needed to confirm previous SARS-CoV-2 infection. Because of the temporal association between MIS-A and SARS-CoV-2 infections, interventions that prevent COVID-19 might prevent MIS-A,” the CDC’s report states.In children, symptoms have included shock, cardiac dysfunction, abdominal pain, and elevated inflammatory signs. According to the CDC, there have been similar symptoms spotted in adults.“Findings indicate that adult patients of all ages with current or previous SARS-CoV-2 infection can develop a hyperinflammatory syndrome resembling MIS-C,” the CDC states.The CDC’s report looks at 16 patients who ranged in age from 21 to 50, of those, nine had no reported underlying medical conditions. Of the 16 patients tracked in the studies, two of them died.The time between a coronavirus infection and the development of MIS-A is unclear, and varied widely in the cases studied by the CDC.Some of the patients had tested positive for COVID-19 several days before they were admitted to the hospital with MIS-A symptoms, at least one patient tested positive 41 days before. A few of them had tested positive for COVID-19, then tested negative before they developed MIS-A. 1999

A military jet went down at Lake Havasu Airport on Tuesday morning.According to the United States Air Force, an F-16C aircraft assigned to the 56th Fighter Wing at Luke Air Force Base in Glendale, Arizona diverted and attempted to land at the Lake Havasu Airport around 10:30 a.m. local time.Lake Havasu Fire said the pilot of the plane was able to eject and is expected to be okay. The incident occurred during a routine training exercise. It is unclear what type of plane was involved in the incident or where the pilot is based.Lake Havasu Airport is located about three and a half hours northwest of Phoenix near the state border with California. 668
