CLEVELAND, Ohio – President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden are debating each other for the first time.WATCH LIVE:The 90-minute event will be split up into six 15-minute segments and there will be no commercial interruption. Each of the six segments will be dedicated to a predetermined topic. The Commission Presidential Debates says those topics will include: “the Trump and Biden records, the Supreme Court, COVID-19, the economy, race and violence in our cities, and the integrity of the election.”The topics were chosen by the moderator of the debate, “Fox News Sunday” anchor Chris Wallace.Amid the coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 general election is unlike any other in American history. The threat of COVID-19 has prevented the candidates from campaigning in a way we’ve seen in the past. Trump has still held rallies, but with some precautions taken, while Biden has opted to rely heavily on virtual events and socially distanced speeches.Tuesday night, Trump and Biden will appear on stage together, but far apart and the candidates are not expected to shake hands. The audience will also be smaller than in years past and all in-house spectators will be tested for the coronavirus. This debate will provide both nominees the opportunity to shape the narrative of the election, which has largely been focused on the handling of the pandemic, the push for racial equality, and most recently the vacancy of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s seat on the Supreme Court.Along with those topics, a bombshell report from The New York Times is sure to be brought up. The “newspaper of record” reported Sunday that it has obtained more than two decades worth of Trump’s tax information. The documents reportedly revealed Trump paid just 0 in federal income taxes in 2016 and 2017. In 10 of the 15 years before that, he paid no income taxes at all, The Times reports. The president has called the reporting “fake news.”Trump and Biden are getting ready for the debate in starkly different ways. The Washington Post reports that Trump isn’t doing much to prepare, instead relying on his experience at the White House and at rallies. Meanwhile, The Post says Biden is doing more traditional debate prep. After Tuesday’s debate, the American people will have to wait more than two weeks before Trump and Biden face off again on Oct. 15 at a town-hall style debate in Miami. The final debate will be held in Nashville on Oct. 22.Election Day is on Nov. 3. Click here for the registration and early voting deadlines in your state. 2545

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State football players and their parents were given a pledge to sign, asking them to acknowledge the risk of COVID-19 and take responsibility for their own health and safety, according to a document obtained by ESPN and The Columbus Dispatch. The electronic pledge, called the “Buckeye Pledge,” states that players will agree to COVID-19 testing and potential self-quarantine if they test positive. By signing the pledge, students also agree to report any potential exposure to the virus and agree to monitor their health for potential signs of the virus, the document states.Students who sign the pledge agree to wear a mask or “appropriate PPE” when in any public space and practice social distancing whenever possible, according to the document. The document states that failure to comply with the Buckeye Pledge “may lead to immediate removal of athletic participation privileges (not my athletics scholarship) and/or the inability to use athletics facilities," according to ESPN.Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith told ESPN that the pledge is more so intended for educational purposes than it is for liability reasons. To read the full ESPN report, click here. This story was originally published by Camryn Justice at WEWS. 1260

CLAY COUNTY, Mo. — A man is in custody after leading multiple law enforcement agencies on a chase while riding an ATV naked. KCPD told Scripps station KSHB in Kansas City that Shoal Creek patrol officers were sent out on a call involving a naked man driving a yellow ATV through yards just after 2:15 p.m.When they located him, they tried to pull him over but he refused to stop and fled through a field. He eventually made his way onto I-435 and began driving fast going south in the northbound lanes. He got off I-435 at 210 Highway, where he exited onto Searcy Creek Parkway and drove back east toward train tracks south of 210 Highway. As the suspect approached the old Sam's Town Casino, police said he was thrown from the ATV after he struck two railway junction boxes. He got up and tried to run from officers, but was taken into custody and to a local hospital for treatment. The chase ended just before 3:45 p.m.The police activity you’ve been seeing along 152 Hwy, I-435 and now 210 Hwy is all because of a naked man riding a yellow ATV who refused to stop for police. ?? He’s now in custody. No dangerous instruments were found. pic.twitter.com/hH6cL5yiF2— Clay County Sheriff (@SheriffClayCo) February 25, 2018 1265

Comedian Jimmy Fallon announced on Sunday that tapings for "The Tonight Show" for the coming week have been canceled due to his mother's death. Fallon had previously canceled Friday's taping at the last minute due to a family matter. On Saturday, Fallon's mother Gloria Fallon died at the age of 68. “Jimmy Fallon’s mother, Gloria, died peacefully on Saturday," a spokesperson for Fallon told NBC News in a statement. "Jimmy was at his mother’s bedside, along with her loved ones, when she passed away at NYU Langone Medical Center in NYC. Our prayers go out to Jimmy and his family as they go through this tough time.”Other comedians, including fellow late night competitor Stephen Colbert, offered condolences to Fallon. "Mom is the first audience and the best. Remembering Jimmy Fallon and his family in our prayers today," Colbert tweeted. Fallon opted to cancel tapings this week instead of employing guest hosts. Last week, ABC late night host Jimmy Kimmel had fill-in guest hosts while he was out due to his son's heart surgery.  1079

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The pandemic has put a major strain on the job market this year, but in the Pikes Peak region, job opportunities are starting to come back. KOAA spoke with employment experts who say if you're looking to land a job you'll want to be careful with your social media profiles.Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. These are just some of the social media platforms employers are looking at to try to find out more about you during your job search. Employment experts say what you choose to do on these platforms can either help you or hurt you."Companies are going to Google you. They are going to look at you. They're going to Facebook stalk you, or they're going to look at Twitter accounts. They're going to look at Instagram if they can get in," said Pikes Peak Workforce Center Executive Director and CEO Traci Marques. "Obviously LinkedIn is a great platform to be on the professional side, but at the same time you really have to be careful with your social media."The experts say the first step in understanding what employers are seeing is to do the search yourself."Google yourself. If someone is going to Google you Google yourself so you know what's out there," said Marques "Lockdown your social media. Make sure everything is private so that you don't have people that could social media stalk you to get information on you for the job."Once you're comfortable with what the public can see on your digital platforms, employment experts urge job seekers to keep profiles and resume updated for the jobs they want."That's going to show the employer, one, the skillset that you have that relates to this position and also that you took the time to research it and change it to adapt to their company," said Marques. Here's your Rebound Rundown:- Be aware that employers will likely search for you and browse your social media as part of the hiring process- Search your own name and profiles to see what employers are seeing- Lockdown profiles and manage privacy settings- Keep your resume and professional profiles updated and specific to the jobs you desire. If you need help taking steps to prepare yourself for your next job opportunity, want to talk with experts, or need find other employment resources you can visit the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. This story was first reported by Patrick Nelson at KOAA in Colorado Springs, Colorado. 2385
