SUTHERLAND SPRINGS, Texas (KGTV) -- At least 26 people are dead and dozens more injured after a shooting at a church in Texas Sunday morning, according to ABC News.KSAT identified the shooter as Devin Kelley of New Braunfels, Tex. He reportedly fled the scene and is dead after a brief pursuit. ABC News reported Kelley has no known ties to terrorism.The shooting took place at First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, which is located about 35 miles east of San Antonio, according to ABC affiliate KSAT.RELATED: Who is Devin Kelley, Texas church suspect?A witness reported seeing a man walk into the church around 11:30 a.m. and open fire.The victims ranged from 5 to 72 years old. The Airport Authority is investigating an ‘unusual substance’ found in some soap dispensers at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport.DTW and the Airport Authority released this brief statement: “Our Public Safety Department is investigating an unusual substance found in a few of our soap dispensers during the last week. TAMPA BAY (AP) — NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said the league plans to invite vaccinated health care workers to the Super Bowl in Tampa, Florida, as guests of the league.In a letter to Rob Higgins, president of the host committee for the Super Bowl, that was obtained by The Associated Press, Goodell wrote that he wanted to “honor and thank health care workers for their extraordinary service during a pandemic” as well as promote the importance of vaccinations and the wearing of masks in public.Goodell added in the letter: “We all know that over the past year, these frontline workers have put their own lives at risk to the benefit of society and we owe them our ongoing gratitude. We also know that they will remain essential for months to come to treat those who are ill and administer vaccines.
