Republican candidate Leslie Gibson has dropped out of the race for Maine's House of Representatives following backlash from controversial comments he made about two student survivors of the Parkland, Florida, school shooting."I am not walking away with my head hung low. The rock sits about 60 feet off Sunset Cliff Boulevard in the ocean.This is the fifth sculpture to go up there.Statutes of this sort have become an annual ritual, but it remains unknown who makes the pieces, and how they get up there.
