It’s not just the independent repair shops either. GM dealerships like Ed Bozarth's also in Aurora doesn’t know when their deliveries are coming. "Right now I’ve got three vehicles that are tied up waiting on parts,” Bozarth said.Hunn said one of his customers has been waiting three weeks to get their car fixed. There’s nothing he can do right now. He can’t fix it without the right pieces. In a statement, GM said dealers have a limited supply of parts, but that they're supplementing with inventory from wholesale dealers and other suppliers. The company says its ability to ship from distribution centers is limited. “Being an independent shop, our employees are very important to us. So if they felt they weren’t being taken care of we would want to do what we can because they’re what builds my business,” said Pelletier. But when the Ark Encounter asked for their insurance to cover the repairs, they were disappointed.Initially, the suit alleges, the defendants cited faulty craftsmanship as the reason for the property damage and stated they were not liable. TAYLORTOWN, N.C. — A 12-year-old boy in North Carolina is recovering from injuries after being dragged and run over by the school bus he was riding Wednesday afternoon, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.The boy, identified as Zion Baker, was getting off the school bus when the doors closed on his backpack and the bus began to move, dragging him about 10 feet, authorities said. The Michigan attorney general's department sent a cease and desist letter to Menards after receiving multiple complaints about price-gouging.Dana Nessel says that her office received 18 complaints from consumers about face masks, bleach and other products being sold at high prices.The AG's office says that investigators have found that Menards allegedly "appears to be exploiting public fear about coronavirus" by raising prices.Nessel says investigators reportedly discovered that last week, the store allegedly doubled the price of cleaning products like bleach and significantly raised the price of face masks while tying their purchase to an in-store rebate.The AG's office began receiving complaints about Menards last week. “Big box stores are not immune to the Michigan Consumer Protection Act or the Governor’s Executive Order,” Nessel said in a press release. “Large corporations must also play by the rules, and my office will work diligently to ensure this state’s consumers are treated fairly and not abused by businesses seeking to unlawfully jack prices up to line their pockets with profits at the expense of the public during this time of great need.”Menards will have 10 days to respond to the cease and desist letter, or the AG's office could potentially take legal action. 1305
