Rain and gusty winds are the main impacts along the coast, where 1-2 inches of precipitation is forecast and winds of 20-30 mph with higher gusts are possible.The impacts to the Northeast could still change, depending on how close to the coast the storm tracks. The European model has the storm tracking closer to the coast and is showing more significant effects, including higher winds and more torrential rain. New York could see wind gusts up to 25 mph Tuesday evening and up to an inch of rain. Boston could see wind gusts up to 35 mph and 1-2 inches of rain through Wednesday.The American model has the storm tracking farther off the coast, with less of an effect on coastal cities. However, the impacts over the open ocean are expected to be much more significant. George Falcone was charged on three counts: Terroristic threats, obstructing administration of law enfocement, and harassment. The most serious charge, terroristic threats, carries a punishment of up to five years, and a ,000 fine. The New Jersey Attorney General said that the incident happened Sunday evening at the Wegmans in Manalapan, New Jersey. The employee was reportedly concerned that Falcone was standing too close to her and an open display of prepared foods, so she requested that he step back as she covered the food. Instead, Falcone allegedly stepped forward to within 3 feet of her, leaned toward her, and purposely coughed, the attorney general's office said. He allegedly laughed and said he was infected with the coronavirus.“These are extremely difficult times in which all of us are called upon to be considerate of each other— not to engage in intimidation and spread fear, as alleged in this case,” said Attorney General Grewal. “We must do everything we can to deter this type of conduct and any similar conduct that harms others during this emergency. An 8-year-old Guatemalan boy died Christmas morning in the custody of US Customs and Border Protection, the agency said.He is the second Guatemalan child to die in CBP custody this month.The boy, who was detained with his father, died shortly after midnight at Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center in Alamogordo, New Mexico, about 90 miles north of the border crossing in El Paso, Texas.He was taken to the hospital Monday after a border agent noticed signs of illness, and the medical staff first diagnosed him with a common cold and later detected a fever."The child was held for an additional 90 minutes for observation and then released from the hospital mid-afternoon on December 24 with prescriptions for amoxicillin and Ibuprofen," CBP said in a news release.Amoxicillin is a commonly prescribed antibiotic.On Monday evening, the boy began vomiting and was taken back to the hospital for evaluation.
