Chipotle announced on Tuesday a new menu item at its U.S. restaurants for the first time in 2019, and customers can get it delivered for free on Sundays in September. The new menu item is called "carne asada" and it is steak sliced and seasoned with lime, cilantro and spices. The new protein option will join menu mainstays chicken, steak, barbacoa and carnitas. They say physical activity is contagious in Douglas County. “If you're sitting at your kitchen table looking out the window and there’s 15 people riding their bikes by and everybody is walking their dogs, you're [kind of] like, ‘Dang, I got to get my butt moving!’” says Jaworsky. The pair says say their mental health is just as important as their physical health. “Just getting out, breathing fresh air and slowing your mind down a little bit, putting your phone down disconnecting,” Gibowicz says of maintaining her mental health. Gibowicz says mental health has everything to do with physical health, and she’s right. Diabetes and smoking have the strongest correlation in reducing life expectancy. However, mental health was nearly as strong. Researchers say mental health did not have as strong of an effect last year. Dog owners need to stop feeding dogs pig ear treats to end the spread of Salmonella to both humans and dogs nationwide, the CDC said on Wednesday. The CDC's statement comes weeks after previous advisories indicating that dozens have become sick after their dogs consumed pig ear treats. Even after the CDC said two weeks ago that there is a possible correlation between pig ear treats for dogs and Salmonella illness in humans, 34 people have reported an illness. In total, 127 have become ill in connection to this Salmonella outbreak, the CDC says. Nearly 30% of the illnesses have resulted in hospitalizations, the CDC says. The CDC said that the treats came from many different suppliers and is the likely source of this outbreak.
