BEIJING, July 12 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping will pay state visits to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Senegal, Rwanda and South Africa from July 19 to 24, attend the 10th BRICS summit from July 25 to 27 in Johannesburg and visit Mauritius during a stopover, a Foreign Ministry spokesperson announced Thursday.
Xi encouraged both countries to enhance alignment of development strategies, expand cooperation in the areas including energy, infrastructural construction, finance, trade, and investment, intensify people-to-people exchanges, and reinforce security and anti-terrorism cooperation.
The Chinese side reaffirms its respect for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Mongolia, and appreciates the Mongolian government's reiteration of its firm adherence to the one-China policy and its confirmation of always supporting each other concerning the other side's core interests.
The supply-side structural reform has made further headway, and faster strides have been taken on the front of reform and opening-up, as well as winning the "three tough battles," Xi added.
Citing a major consensus reached between President Xi Jinping and President Vladimir Putin on enhancing cooperation between the regions, Hu said the cooperation will enrich the China-Russia all-round partnership of strategic coordination.
